Default 1985 Toyota Corolla GT-S, AE86 Drift Spec

I am selling my Toyota Corolla GT-S. I’ve done extensive research on all the parts that has been put into this car, unfortunately through trial and error. So my lost is your gain. I’ll just let the picture speaks for themselves. At its current state, the body is set at primer. As far as exterior, it only needs the right paint.

Here are the specs; as you can see there are no ebay crap items.

Engine:
Aerodyne Industries tuned
AE92 high comp head assembly (balanced, port and polished).
AE101 bottom block (hot tanked)
AE111 crank shaft
Aerodyne custom made crank bearings
Aerodyne customer made piston head
HKS cam shaft (264 degree 8.1 lift both in & ex)
Pepboys intake cone
Apex - I Super AFC II
Revolver Exhaust (old school)
TRD headers
FC3S (84-88 RX-7) oil cooler
Greddy oil catch can
AE92 flashed re-tuned ECU
Koyo dual core radiator & cap

Note: The engine is practically new; Aerodyne and I started from the ground up. The car is tune for my driving spec. With the fully tuned engine, the throttle response is insane and the pedal is practically a hair trigger. Add the light weight fly wheel and 5 puck clutch system, the launch from a stop is pretty tricky.

Drivetrain
Aerodyne 9kg light weight fly wheel
Aerodyne 5 puck clutch system
TRD Japan 2way LSD (zenki)
Stock transmission and gear ratio
New OEM clutch master cylinder

Suspension:
TRD springs all around (8kg front / 6kg rear)
Front: KYB SR short stroke
Rear: KYB AGX 8way adjustable
Meagan Racing Front and Rear strut tower bar
Aerodyne Hatch bar
TCS 4 link
TCS traction bracket
TCS lateral bar
Techno Toy Tuning RCA (roll center adjuster)
TEIN camber plate

Brakes
Goodridge stainless steel brake lines
New OEM brake pads
New OEM rotors
New brake master cylinder
New OEM e brake cable

Interior
Gutted interior
Tenzo Bucket seats
Tenzo GT steering wheel
Battery re-located (in the right rear for weight balance)
SABELT 4 point harness

Exterior
Modiride J-Blood copy Rear, side skirt and front bumper
Primer Prepped for paint.
Trueno corner lights
SSR Longchamp XR-4 (Front: 15X6.5 +15 Rear: 15X7 +18 offset 4x114.3 pitch) mint condition!

The car is a trailer b!+ch. I built this car only for the purpose of track driving, however this is a street car. I’ve used various parts for my car and this is as good as it gets for my taste. I only do light tuning on the engine only because of the racing regulations. I’ve done most of my tuning in the chassis and suspension.

Not at all. Opinions are great conversation starter :-)

I'm selling it because i'm getting old (25, i know not that old) and I have a business which requires my attention more than my car. I really want to sell it to someone that would keep it and take it to its potential like I did or beyond. :-)

Check my first post.

"Asking $8500.00 I'll entertain any resonable offer."

By all means start your project car from the ground up. Strip down the car to beare metal, seam weld the chassis to reinforce it. Spend transportation cost to go to Willow Springs and spend entry fees, just to test your car in the track and it's full potential.

Spend hundreds of hours testing on the track and tuning it on the track in soaking heat. Finding the best tire selection, air pressure for max grip. finding the best alignment for both grip and drift.

I've tracked honda civics before and i've spent more on it, just because I have to spend a lot of racing only parts just to keep me satisfied. :-)

hey, thanks for the reply.

Please show me a reference and I will adjust appropriately.
I would like to compare the "built jdm levin" against my car.

Also, I'm not sure if you are familiar with 20V motors. But they have a flaw in the low end of the rpm. That's why Japanese tuner still prefer 16v head over the 20valve.

I'm not really sure if you read my spec. I have a 20v bottom with a 16v head. (I think the LS/Vtec is the equivalent of this swap).

Since the 4AG engine is a non-interference; 4AG people take advantage of quick response of a 16v with the improved oil inlets and lighter crank shaft of the 20v (newer) block. The block of a 16v (blue or red top) are inferior to its Sister 20v and it makes the engine capable of taking more compression at a higher rev band.

Trust me I've done me research ;-)

The 20v has its advantages, mainly because its new :-)

Holy Crap! I can't event find a website (even ebay and takumiproject) that sells my rims in any size.

http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelmodels/3084

To lower the asking price. I can throw a pair (2) of Konig Rewinds 15X7 0 offset in place of the longchamps (that's my older brothers white 86 in the background ^_^)

unfortunately its only a pair, the other pair has to be doughnut (stock 14' rims)

FYI; due to its rarerity of these rims, I do not track my XR-4 that's why they are in flawless condition (it's for the "bling" factor). I use the Konig Rewinds for track use.

I think your older brother came out to one of our saturday meets. His car was awesome and if you two have the same knowledge then I'm sure your car is worth the price. Only thing I'm not sure about is that you said it has a 4-pt harness and all the pics show a 3-pt.
