Default My Civic, Now.

Hey Guys.

I got cracking on my civic. Got H&R race springs in, SIR wheels, finished up a bit of the interior (95%) and I added a front lip.

It's nothing special, but a huge upgrade from what it was.

The Before:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1629105 (Yikes)

Here are pics:
The interior:

Misc shots from tonight (shitty camera + wrong setting = owned)

Pic of said gf or ban:

The tech:

It looks like my car is more low in the back then in the front . It's bugging me, and I'm wondering why it's like that? It's mostly settle, but I think with the B going in it will even out.

Tell me what you think.

I had the opposite problem with my H&R race springs on Koni Yellows. I had to lower the perch position on the rear to get it to sit evenly. How old are your shocks? Any chance the rears are blown?

Nice Job, congrats...like the dash conversion. I want to do that, but I have not found a CRX with a nice interior.

Clean start . What shocks are you running? Cause that looks pretty high for H&R race...even for unsettled springs .

My progress lowering springs are lower in the rear than they are in the front also. I'm on stock shocks though so I think thats my problem. Someone sold me DA progress springs before I got the right ones and the front was SLAMMED but the rear was not lowered at all.

I'm running stock shocks. The gap in the rear is 1 finger, the front is 1 1/2 fingers (2 fingers on angle). The springs are brand spanking new (as of 300 kms ago). All shocks where in mint condition when I pulled them off, life time warranty FTW. One of my stock springs was litterally rusted in half, had snapped, and was sagging. The only reason it held together was the plastic coiled around it haha.

The tires I have are quite beefy. They don't help in the lowering process.

Nope. Got it off Paul (2point2). And I'm selling it soon, 400% profit on the engine haha. I bought it for so cheap, got offered a **** loads for it. Altough is comes with a bit more then what I got it with, like a brand spanking new alternator (3 year warranty, never been installed).

Yes that's a bit pricey to still be with a D series. You can find B series motors for cheaper at local junkyards or pick n pulls.

Im in the southeast corner of wisconsin. I dont think i would wnat your though because it leaks oil. That is why i am getting rid of mine. I rep[laced the head gasket twice and it still leaks on dizzy side. I was told it was either the dizzy plug or vtec solenoid gasket. I dont think it is though.

The oil leak is fixed. The engine doesn't burn one drop, and is fast (for a SOHC ZC with PM6 ECU). Comes with Si tranny, clutch is ok, needs replacing slips a bit. The material is there, it's just been oil soaked. Comes with shift linkage, 2 worn axles (good for cores for new ones), brand spanking new urethane inserts for the mounts, a new alternator, a spare TB cause the one that's on there is fucked. The ECU, dizzy comes with it. The timing belt has been done, same with head gasket, valve cover gasket, rear main seal. Tranny doesn't grind unless you really push it, syncromesh will fix that. Gets oil changed every 2500kms (1500miles). I'm selling the engine with every sensor. A full tuneup has been done. Runs mint, idles perfect. I don't push it hard either. I'd say over 75% of my driving is granny driving. And I drive a good amount, about 10000kms in 3-4 months. The engine only saw 2 track nights, about 30 runs all together.

I got someone who is gonna pay 400$ to buy it, engine comes with compression test to proove it's a tough one. It's pulled away from Civic EX, LS integras and even a H22 powered accord on the 1/4 mile. Only reason I'm parting is cause I'm going B for dirt cheap (sometimes deals just fall into your lap, 1000$ for a B16 that trapped 94mph on the 1/4).
