Default Fixed my CF Lip---DIY

Well i finally got around to doing alittle repair on my cf lip..

Here are some basic things you will need..
.Fiberglass,Resin,mixing material,and a place to mix it..

I stared to take pics a little late so ill fill you in.

In this pic ive put the resin onto the glass and put some peices onto the inside of the lip..

Here is the front side after afew plys... 3 on the inside and 1 on the outside...

Here are both sides ready to be sanded...Just imagine to big holes where the fiberglass is...

Here trying not to get dirty in the 90+ degree weather...

Ok here is one side sanded ready to paint..Try notto sand the clear over the carbon...

Ready for paint....

All done, looks alot better without 2 big holes there...

Ok that was just a quick job to try and get the lip better looking...

I also put extra fiberglass on the inside to help keep from other cracks...

first time with fiberglass? the cloth is supposed to turn clear when you apply resin to it.
