The Rota's were the whole point of not using the same old played out wheels used on every VW... Except Rotas are about the most played out wheel in the Honda world.... Oh well I like them!!
Thanks for the comments!!

Re: My "green" Bug and Quickchris's K20R (i_rock_RVCA)
Thanks mang
For those who followed my build....I have put about 550 miles on it.. ( remember I can only put 2500 on it cause of my policy, don't want to drive it too much!!)
It is still weird driving this car around..Still getting used to 4 wheel drum brakes again!! No leaks, runs good ect...
What was really cool was having Chris (the type R in the pics) in the car again considering the last time he and I rode in this thing we were 16...About 13-14 years ago!! Pretty crazy stuff.
Later guys,
IZ

The Beetle looks pretty dope and the DC looks....thrown together and incomplete. I suppose it's a work in progress.

Chris's DC is in fact a theft recovery rebuild....
Few pics from a few short months ago...
Here you can see a good amount of time & effort placed...
Just a few shots to show a little progress
