My 2.0L, topmount GT35R, Crower 404, non-VTEC B18B build. Tons of pics!
I haven't really seen many high HP non-VTEC numbers around the H-T Forced Induction forum, so I figured I'd post my build. I posted my build a few weeks ago, but a lot of parts have been changed/upgraded.
The custom top mount manifold is currently being fabricated. It should all be put back together and tuned by Thursday. So dyno numbers will soon follow in a few days.
I hope this build/thread will help someone with what to do or not to do or if nothing else, provide a good laugh at someone spending too much money on a non-VTEC build.
Updated pics of the manifold being built on page 2.
Updated pics of the finished manifold and turbo on page 4.
Updated pics of the engine, manifold, turbo installed and on the dyno on page 6.
Uploaded dyno sheets on page 8.
Uploaded race gas dyno plots on page 12.
Uploaded pics of the Sebring Silver/Nighthawk Black Pearl paint job on page 16.

Hot stuff man. Makes me want to sell my LS/VTEC setup and just run a straight up b18b!! From what I hear, those 404's and that turbo will make for a fun time

sounds really good. the 404 cams and boost run good together. i made a basemap for a fellow honda-tech user run n the 404 cams and 8 psi and the car ran in the 12's (in an integra too)

one more thing: get rid of the B&M FPR. trust me they are garbage. i had two of them and they both crapped out in a couple of months. they dont hold the fuel pressure. get an aeromotive FPR

Valve cover was off in that pic. It stays on any other time.

Yeah. I've seen a lot of people say they run well. I've seen people say they run/idle like crap. I wanted to do away with the he-said, she-said stuff and find out myself.

It's being built here at Main Stream Performance (678.567.9384) in Atlanta, Georgia. The top mount and all of the custom fabrication are also being built here in-house.

My tuner also uses Crome. It will all come down to whatever gets the job done. There's another local here that makes 630whp/440tq with Uberdata and hasn't had one problem. I also ran Uberdata on my first setup. Granted, it was much less power, but it worked flawlessly. However, Crome Prop does have some nice features and has 5 bar support, so maybe a switch will come in the near future.
Thanks for the compliments.

It doesn't matter crome or uberdata, both will be the same in the reliability factor. The reliability comes with the tuner and what he feels more comfortable with. No reason uberdata can't support a high HP car.
BTW: very nice setup. Dyno numbers should be good.

Then I guess he didn't tell you that he gave blundar the source code so it can be developed further. It isn't dead.

Sick build..
I wish you would have went with some more compression.. Another point or at least a half would have livened it up quite a bit..
Regardless - sick *** set up.. Can't wait to see the curve.

I thought about doing a little higher compression, but figured it would be just as easy to run more boost.
Thanks again to all for the compliments.
