nice job...ur completeley drowning the highs. Whats the point of having a stereo if it only goes BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.Sure the 12yo kids will like it, but they like ricers too. If u wanted the rumble, get a tactile transducer. 1000w rms is too much for a civic. But i did like your Amp...it was hot sex.

Out curiousity why is the woofer placed to the left and not to the right for better wave flow inside the box??

Makes no difference. All the sub does is pressurize the box.

If that is the case why did they make the box wider?? If u place the sub to the right wont it help getting lower freq.

Wow it sounds nice from the outside. Doesn't look like it rattles that much maybe the bass is making it not noticeable. How much and where did you get this subwoofer? What amp are u running with it? Are they more on the SQ/SPL side, im looking for a new sub that's along the lines with the W7. Also why is your trunk carpet brown?

Because the sub needs the volume of air inside the box.

Ill try and answer all your guys questions in one post...

The box was custom made for what the subwoofer specs say. So it would get the best sound out of it. Because everyone knows you can put a sub in any box but if its not tuned or ported right it will sound like **** or if the material is cheap it wont hit as hard. And the box is so long because they took the measurements so when they put it in, it would fit perfectly side to side.

I got the subwoofer for $350 from Superior Sound in Fresno, CA + the box was made at their shop too for $175. check out http://www.reaudio.com/ for specs on my sub and others.

Im running a hifnoics 1606D amp 1600 x 1 @ 1ohm (real cheap on ebay $270) + they have blue neon lights for show ha

The box specs are
Port: 1.9 after tuned at 36hz

And my carpet is blown because when i bought the car thats what it came with ha

Next im a get a video of the roof flex. Ill put some pennies on the top and watch them bounce off the car
