H22 H2B EG Civic Project has started. (56k, go swap a motor)
Just taking the motor parts that i dont need off the motor today, got a bit of work done, and then rain came in just as i finished Heres some pics, since i know u guys love pics.
After everything cleaned and removed:
M2B4 removed(for sale btw.)
Harness labeled ready to go under the knife
This is not going in the car
Atlest its got LSD
Some questions for u pros:
Whats this sensor, it wasn't pugged in.
ALso is this IAB: How do i got about removing the system as well as EGR? the things i dont need i dont want on the motor
Also on the h22 tranny whats this(not like i care since im going Bseries)
Thats it. As u guys can see i guess the TPS is broken, also were is the map sensor, motor is OBD II the Map aint on top of the throtle body. Anyone got a TPS for sale, or know were to get one? Thats it for know, expect very slow updates

Its the vss. Hey, would you be interested in selling the vss? im in need of one!

reverse light sensor/switch.
The TPS sensors are often broken. Any B series TPS will work, maybe even D series as well.

That's your IAT (intake air temp) which you need. On the B series it's located on one of the intake runners.
Are you sure the tranny has LSD? You can't tell by the code

You need a firewall mounted MAP, thats good for some extra hood clearance with the H2B

How deep is the scratch? Can you feel it with your fingernail?

The scratch may not be a big deal.....
I'm not sure what that plug is for, and I'm pretty sure I don't use it anyway.

Im thinking Megan headers$169 shipped
and Mccrod exhaust cut out before cat, and 2/5 in. piping ran a bit more back$120 shipped

Re: H22 H2B EG Civic Project has started. (STEV3-O)
300 bucks for an exhuast set up that will give a few extra hp is great. My philosophy with exhuast/header stuff is either go dirt cheap for a decent amount of power or pay a lot for MAX power. Mid level **** isnt worth the money....might as well buy the best **** then.
I'm running a cheap set up on mine and its fine. Free header from a Prelude Clip (FDK..looks like a Mugen copy or something) and 2.5" straight pipe back...for the cops

I made 215 through a piece of **** OBX.....
There is a difference in quality and performance but the cheaper headers still have their purpose in my book.
