Default 2008 Redesign of TSX

The 2006 TSX facelift will carry it through 2007, but there will be a new car for the 2008 model year.

What would you, as a TSX owner, like to see change for the new design?

Is there any basic shortcoming of the car that has always annoyed you?

Any option or feature you feel you need that is currently missing, or any option or feature you think is useless?

Personally I prefer sidemarkers over the mirror signal housings...but it would make it more difficult to differentiate from the TL so I assume they wouldnt want that...

I'd like to see a TSX-S...a little more aggressive...say typical S, lowered 10-15mm, tighter suspension, maybe 10-15 hp...

A-Spec is fun but S would be great

idk that you could pull more than 10-15hp out of that engine without some serious work, unlike the RSX-S which adds another 40 hp (which ironically is a near twin pardoning the jump from 2.0L to 2.4L)? Maybe they could make a TSX-S with a supercharger that added 60hp, and an upgraded sport package with larger wheels, stiffer suspension, stuff like that.

What you described is pretty much the '06 with the a-spec suspension.

you meant RSX right? 06 was the last model, and I'm trading in the trusty accord for a lightly used '02 RSX-S. I still think some sort of FI would be great on the new TSX.

They could do it if they really wanted and if it looked like people would buy it.

The turbo K23 out of the RDX wouldn't take much changing at all.

But, IMHO, a higher output K24 would be even better. All they'd basically have to do is put a slightly modified K20A(*) head on the K24, give you a new computer, and you'd have a 250 HP car. That's probably plenty for a little sedan like the TSX.

Wish List

- LSD (if it remains FWD), although I would prefer RWD like the IS and 3-Series. SH-AWD would acceptable if weight wasn't increased significantly
-Performance tire option
-Sport Package or upgraded suspension (like BMW and Lexus offer)
-More Torque and Horsepower - the TSX is a underpowered compared to the 325 and the IS250 (as it becomes the IS300 next year getting 245 hp).
-Halo Model - Type S or whatever they want to call it. 300+ Hp capable of competiting against the new BMW 350 (turbo 3L with 300 HP) and IS350.

In short, keep the gimmicks (bluetooth, nav, mem seats, trip computer, HID's) and add performance.

I don't think they will upgrade the performance too much because isn't that what the TL fulfills? Because the body is almost the same, the TL just has 2 more cylinders? Then again, that car is essentially unmoddable.

i dont think FWD will make the car have the best handling. if anything, they will get more power out of the TSX and also keeping the same options. i have a good feeling that in the future, the TSX will truly be one of the best luxury sport cars out there.
