Full-Race Turbo Cams
we just finished testing some new cams on my car this past week. The results were very favorable, as the cams made 10-15 whp from 2000rpm to 5000 rpm and 60-100 whp from 5000 rpm to redline. This was compared to a 2001 ITR cam (aka CTR)
These cams MUST be used with a good valve spring (at least 100+ lb seat pressure, this is considered mandatory) and we recommend that you use stock valve size.
price is $540

Fingers crossed, I'll be doing a GSR vs. ITR vs. Blox B dyno on one of our shop motors within the month or so. (I at least want to do GSR vs. Blox B) I'm curious to see how thes results would compare to your cam, and also to other "medium" (it's no stage 1...) NA cams like the Blox B (Skunk2 Stage 2), M22, BC3/BC4, etc.
I'm not surprised you've come up with a better cam considering how much time you've spent on the dyno lately.

Sweet!!!
How long until these cams are for sale to the public?
I have a set of cams in my Talon and it made a world of difference. The lop is pretty cool also. How are the cams idle characteristics? But hell if they gain the amount of hp you show on your graph then $650 sounds like a hell of a deal.
I just might need some,
Josh

Why is stock valve size recommended?
Did you see adverse results with oversized valves?

tested on a ported head. stock valve size is recommended for reduced mass and increased clearance.
the adverse results we saw with oversized valves and too soft springs was bending the 1mm over ferrea exh valve at 10,500 rpm . "oops you have the 90 lb valve springs that were discontinued last year"

Re: Full-Race Turbo Cams (Smokinsax)
so what about a .5mm oversized supertech valve? its not quite 1mm over? anyone know the specs of the supertech spring. I swore they were 130lb pressure, but now I have to wonder and my stake of receipts is like reading the bible anymore with the number of times i've rebuilt my hatch.
regardless..this cam looks amazing, what turbo setup was this done on? doesn't look like a gt40 powerband.

Re: Full-Race Turbo Cams (seen4ever)
I think Geoff uses a gt35 of some sort. I would like to see results on a smaller turbo. Possibly a gt3076r since I have one on backorder from FR.
