Default Just put in 5zigen headers

I just put in a new set of 5zigen headers! Mid-range improved a lot as well as top end. According to my friend who sold me the set, 5-7 whp gains were seen in their previous dyno's(dynojet). Well my butt dyno notices the diff! What made it more surprising was that my old headers were actually 96 spec! My car is 00 JDM ITR. So I guess the new headers made the gains more pronounced. What was strange was that my car feels quieter! Anyway I'll take some pics. How do I load the pics to the forum?

For all those correcting his English, note that he is from Manila. I personally think he writes quite well, and much better than many H-T members who have lived in the US for their entire lives.

I fitted a 5zigen 4-2-1 header last year to my 96spec and also found that it made the engine note quieter. I thought at first that the vtec was working as it was so quiet. But after a week or two it got as loud as it was before i fitted it. Did you reset the ECU. the engine is now flowing better and so it may be no harm to reset the ECU. Anyways give it a week and you'll notice the noise coming back.

Sorry for my grammar! I do make mistakes once in a while! The reason I did'nt notice that my car should've come with stainless steel headers is because I just got the car over a month ago and I did'nt know the finer details of ITRs. From reading threads in the forum, I realized that the cast iron manifold was 96 spec.

I will try and re-set the ecu today. Definitely it makes the same noise when the vtec comes in. But doing around town driving below 4k rpm, the car is noticably MORE QUIET.
On another note, I just drove down today from the mountains(tagaytay) and this volvo s60 T5 tried to drop me. Hehe...he could'nt. It was nice to freak him out!

To post pics you can click on the little mountain scene above while you are typing your post or just insert the pics hyperlink in between [img][/img].

What's with people attacking, and saying to search took just as long as telling the person how to post pics. to you
