Default H-T's highest HP on a stock block thread....

By "Stock Block" I mean: Stock block, rods, pistons...ect. Stock below the headgasket

Because there seem to be a lot of high HP stock block setups coming about, I thought it might be kinda interesting to see whos at the top of the list.

Post your #s, setup, and how long the setup has lasted. Dynos above 3Kft post your uncorrected #s just to keep this somewhat fair, and to appease Tony...hehe .

EDIT: to keep the lists informative, and relatively simple I am limiting them to the top 10. If trap speeds are given, I'll try to keep you up on the list, because the HP figure + trap speed is more important than just a dyno.

EDIT: (3/12/07) For the lists that are full, I am no longer updating the list.

TIA
Bryson

Oh, thanks for noticing that! What I mean is:

Stock Block, stock crank, pistons, rods...ect. Basically completely stock BELOW the headgasket.

Because the ring lands seem to be the weakest part of the stock blocks, this is what I'm after.

I just think it will be interesting to make a list of the top B, K, D, series.

interesting...I'd like to see as well. 328whp here stock B18b, but I know there is higher.

I saw a H series do mid 400's, but it gave out to a valve retainer letting go...too bad

Highest stock SOHC I've seen...

http://forums.evans-tuning.com...=2860

I think there was also a 400whp stock GSR posted here, a 442whp H22 (This One's coupe) and a 505whp K20 too.

I have a couple stock longblock B series above 400hp but they dont count because of the SAE BS that is going on, they really only make about 280hp. lol. One of them does run 11.5's in a full interior Integra.

I think it would be beneficial to add what type of fuel was used as well. We all know stock blocks can make some power, they just don't handle detonation too well, and the fuel used has a big affect on power capabilities.

I think my highest is 386whp on 93octane, gsr motor.

430 on pump @18psi 470 on c16 @20-21 never dynoed again but turned up to 25lbs and ran alot of 10.7@134-135 in a 2550lbs car before the rods gave up on me. I figure at least low 500.

Ive seen plenty of fast cars back east with stacked headgaskets , afc/fmu/440 setup... Def not ideal but quite a few stay together for awhile and theres a few in the 10's
