Default new dyno: d16z6 t3t4e 57 trim @ 25 psi 550's 2.5 DP Servion Neptuned 340 whp 305 tq

ok,
here it is...

my setup:
1994 Civic DX hatch.

engine:
d16z6.
srp 9.0-1 pistons / eagles rods.
micro polished crank.
block notched for eagle rods.
ACL bearings.
blocked decked 1 time.
This motor was assembled by myself and Servion (with help from everyone in HRC)
stock head with ARP studs.
milled 1 time.
port matched intake ports.
port matched exhaust ports.
d16y8 intake manifold.
eliminated PVC system.
RC 550's
ACT 6 pluck (stage3 I believe)
Extreme pressure plate
OEM axles.

turbo:
log manifold (built by george.. GT350)
t3t4e 57 trim.
.48 ar turbine, stage 3 wheel
.60 ar comp housing 57 trim wheel
2.5 in downpipe.
no cat.
2.5 in exhaust with apex n1 can.
turbo xs RFL bov.
drag intercooler.
DMH performance E-cutout right before the firewall.
plx-300 wideband o2 .
greddy profec b spec-2.

we went to ImportSports (in Denver CO) max out the turbo or the injectors (which ever came first)
i think we did a pretty good job considering we are 5200ft up

here was the final dyno.

guage boost was ~25 psi
absolute boost (as seen by netpune was ~20psi)
i am seeing full spool at ~5200 rpms in 3rd gear.
the injectors are @ ~80% duty cycle
fuel pressure is stock
not sure what total timing was (hopefully servion will add this)
chart is alittle choppy, beacuse my ignition was acting up alittle up top.

i will be moving to las vegas in a month or so,
once i get there, i will add a cam and see what kinda gains i can make with that.
servion also thinks that i am gettin alot of contamination from running a .48 turbine house and a 2.5 DP.
i wish i someone made a.55 ar turbine (that was t3 flanges and a 4 bolt DP) i love the spool of this turbo and i dont want to lose its streetablilty.

here is a pic of the car:

here is a video of my guages on the dyno
http://www.youtube.com/?v=LJ9ztjNfJNo
huge thanks to Servion (jeremy), ALL of HRC for the help with the build.
parts from joule and revolutions tuning.
fabrication by george.
thanks for all the answers i have recieved here.

if you have any questions or comments, i will do my best to answer them.
thanks

Good lord that thing is SUCH a sleeper! I'd like to see a diffrent manifold on there, see if your numbers carried higher in the rpm's. Damn man, I'm impressed!

Well done. Weird graph it spools early but you don't start making power untill fairly late in the rev range and its choppy up there to..

Spark alright?

i know right! very well done. the d16 vtecs make more tq than people would think they do. how do you like the cutout? did you do any runs with it closed to see a power difference?

yeah. he suspects that i am gettin alot of contamination (by looking at the spark plugs and seeing the way they burn)

jeremy has told me to get
1. equal length
2. bigger exhaust housing
3. adjustable cam

but:
1 . they dont make a equal length that is A/C compatable (that im aware of.. unless someone wants to sponsor me ) which is a must for me cuz i will be moving to las vegas in 3 weeks
2 . i picked a .48 turbine because this is (and always will be) a streetcar. i wish i could find a turine somewhere in between .48 and .63
3. i plan to get a zex 59300 (or supposely zex has a newer cam coming out soon) and a cam gear once i get settled into vegas

ill figure something out

the spark was cutting at the time.

since then i have replace:
coil
ignitor
rotor
car
wires
plugs

it has since cleared up.
it is super smooth up top now.

thanks.
i ahve always loved the sleeper look.
it funny alot of my friends (muscle guys) say "yeah id race you , if i saw you on the street"
i say " yeah, id take your money"

as for the cutout.
i love it.
i have the DMH one.
i wasnt able to use the flowtech that came with it (the "Y" part) because there was no room. so i have it "T'd" off the DP.
it is right in front of the firewall.
the differnceis noticable. not in power, but the spool is better.

we went back up to the dyno last weekend, but it was really to cold (~30*). the correction factor was super low.
so instead we did some testing.
here is the difference between the ecutout open and it closed:
not a huge power difference, but the 'area under the curve' is alot better.
sorry a spilled water on it

What kind of t3/t4? I know some of them don't like going over 20psi, hate to see you lose a motor over one.

Nice number though!

one of the questions i asked jeremy was what the total timing.
i knew someone would ask.
he didnt have his laptop with him when he answered the other quesitons, but said he would tell me once he got a chance to look at it.

if he doesnt post it up soon, ill bug him about it again.

i am running the latest version of neptune for management

it is a t3t4e 57 trim.

we had it up at 27 psi but i just knew that had to be out of the efficancy range.
we turned it down to ~24 and gained power.

the IAT were never higher then ~50-60* AT THE MOST

once i get down to sea level and the static pressure is alittle better, we might turn it up again.

yea, those are good numbers for stock sleeves and that much boost on a d16.

im wondering what the total timing was because i could never get that high on my stock sleeves. i keep poping head gaskets

platinum.

i am sure it a somewhat conservative.

he knows this is a street car, and he knows it WILL be beat on.

i am using a OEM HG with no copperspray and arp studs

per servion:

At peak torque (peak VE) the timing is 16.5 degrees. It advances
progressively to redline after that.

Wierd, I always thought the format was peak timing at peak torque, then slowly pull timing after it.

Wish it was on TE or Crome and I could look at the map

Good #s though, should be very pleased

Are you joking? On the chance you aren't. At Peak TQ the highest cylinder pressures are generated therefore the most chance of detonation.

What were the Uncorrected #s?

I'm surprised you haven't posted those yet-- are you trying to mislead people into thinking that you actualy made that much HP on stock sleeves? tsk tsk

340hp corrected, so I'm guessing around 270-280? NOT trying to hate, but instead eduCATE. hehe damn i'm a poet.

Btw, I am interested in uncorrected #s for other reasons, too.
