my clock is not hooked up. It looks like there is no harness or anything for it.
Does anyone know where to look excatly for it?
Or
Where would the wires be located and what colors are they??
thanks

There will be a plug behind the center vent, both of my dxs' didnt have clocks and the plug was still there stuck into the little clock block off plate. U have to unscrew the plate, and the clock just bolts in and looks 100% stock.

remove your center?shift consol, then *pop* out the vents/clock that sits above the centerconsol, look hard in the cavitie behind the dash. There should be a harness in there that plugs into your clock.

yea i know where to find the plug and i know what it looks like. but i think it has been cut by the previous owner.
Now i just need to know where to wire the 3 wires at because i can go get a plug at a junk yard.

Do you have the wires coming through the inner dash where there is a hole for them (located on the left side when facing the dash behind the center vent)? If there are wires still sticking through, you should have 4. The colors are as follows: White w/blue stripe; Red w/black stripe; Yellow; Black.
4 Wires connect into my clock. I have a 90 Hatch.
When you get the junkyard plug, try to keep some wire so you can match them up.
Otherwise...
For positioning purposes, connect the plug to the clock and have the clock facing you as if it were mounted (keep it in this position to use my sequence below). Now that you have the plug in the right position, the wire sequence is as follows:
Top right: White w/blue stripe
Top left: Yellow
Bottom right: Red w/black stripe
Bottom left: Black
I hope that helps. Good luck.

There should be, I havent pulled that section in my car, but I know my car was pre-wired for a cigarette lighter as well as rear speakers. So I would assume it is also pre-wired for the clock.
