Most civics & integras have holes already drilled for that bar in the proper location. They should be pluged with rubber grometts that are painted the same color as the car. If you do not have the grometts & holes, your going to have to drill. To find the correct spot, I've heard that the proper location for the holes can be located by looking up into the fender (above the upper control arm). The shock tower is constructed of two metal panels welded together. I've heard that the bottom layer should always have the holes (this is hear-say though ). Then all you do is drill up through them into the engine bay (keep wires away ).
Oh yeah, your going to need 4 short grade 10.2 metric bolts, matching nylon lock nuts, and 8 washers
