Been working on this since August of last year... I wanted to post a timeline of my progress. This car is being built as a dedicated drag car for the NHRA/NDRA all motor classes... This car started off as a $400 daily driver...
Once it stopped running, I came up to my brother with the idea of turning it into a drag car... of course he agreed and that has led us to today; a long, grueling and sometimes hair-pulling process of turning this car into what it has gotten to today...
K20a2
Everything except for the cage and window work has been done here in house, including all the bodywork and paint...
Thanks for the space,
Julian
PS: I wanted to thank all of the people that have helped me along the way:
My father and brother, without you, there would be no project
JV, the founder of the allmotormilitia
Brian @ Hasport
Tom @ Camp1320 for the best price on a k-pro
Rob @ NoLimitMotorsports for mounts and suspension pieces
The guys over at Full-Race for a kickass traction bar and great service
SlicksMH, John has the best customer service
B @ HapRecycling for the k20 swap
Danny and Derek @ Six Sigma Race Engineering for the header
XtremeMotorwerks and MTK's fab for the fabrication that I couldn't accomplish and all the other sponsors here on HT that have accepted my money
Brian @ Karcepts
Tony@ T1 Race Development

Re: (Future.)
First thing I did was strip the interior to get the car ready for the cage...
Dry ice really does wonders
Once the interior was all gone, it was time to focus on the engine bay...
In mounting the k20 motor, the brake prop. valve had to be repositioned close to the firewall and the tranny bracket on the framerail had to be removed...
More to come soon...
