that's why i want to find this thread again... someone was saying why they were doing it and i'm curious
personally i like this better than having two yellow lights and two clear ones, but that's JDM...it's all in what you like.

It lowers intake air temperatures by pulling in cooler air, the same as any old V8 with a cowl hood. There are lots of threads about it.

I can't find anymore either, but there was a recent thread on this and i think it was in this forum

sorry man. i searched and couldnt remember the title of the thread. but it was a big debate about how usefull it is and what not. that i remember. for the sportcar motion CTR, it was very usefull because the car utilizes ITB's
