Trailing arms- how to tell which ones I have
I bought a set of rear disc trailing arms, are they stamped with anything that would tell me which chassis they came from? I have the calipers as well, is there a stamping on them that will tell me?

You can find out if you have 92-00 civic/94-01 integra or the 88-91/90-93 integra from the trailarm bushing. The bigger on are the 88-91/90-93 and the smaller one are 92-00/94-01.

Based on the caliper stamping and the fact that a 94- hub wouldnt fit, that these are CRX trailing arms, but they dont look like the CRX trailing arms in the Honda catalog. Thats why I am so confused, I need to know what they came from to get the right hub and bearing and now I geuss the TA bushing as they could be different as well.
expletive!!!!!

I believe the diameter of the hole are different too. Also if you still have the both U/L control arm + toe in/out you can find out where it came out of.

Dont have the arms, but I can measure the bushing hole diameter when I get home. Do you know the diameters of the different arms?

Measure the circumference of the bushing hole. Thats the only way I know of ID-ing the arms.
91-93 DA 10.5"
92+ civic and DC 10"
You can do the math to figure diameter from that.
Other than the bushing size, theyre going to be fine with any chassis 91-01

Yeah I know they should work, but trying to find the right hub\bearing is what I am trying to accomplish.
Thanks I will measure the hole when I get home.

Ok, the TA bushing hole is 3 1/2" across(inner).

Thats nearly 11" circumference
C=diameter x 3.14159</TD></TR></TABLE>
I used a ruler(crude I know) but its all I had handy. It was a bit tough, but its pretty close. I will use my caliper when I get home to do the more accurate reading.
Even with the crude readings its looking more like I have older TAs.

3.3 on the money. You da man Pdiggity.
Now that we have narrowed down what arms I have, what bearing should I use? DC didnt work(bearing races too big), how about an EG bearing?
I have a full DC brake setup from Honda on the way, I hope everything will bolt up. ??

Here are some pics of my rear disc TA parts...
Caliper Stamps "7CLP13S" and "R3":
http://img487.imageshack.us/im...g.jpg
Right Caliper Bracket:
http://img485.imageshack.us/im...m.jpg
The "7CLP13S" and "R3" appears on both the L and R caliper. The picture sucks, and I haven't started cleaning it, but the right side bracket has "AT 6" and "36B" stamped to it, and the left side has "D2 (logo) 60 2GA" stamped on it. They both seem to fit fine.
Trailing arm:
http://img487.imageshack.us/im...k.jpg
Notice that this set has only 2 cutouts, while yours has 3 (not including the bushing hole). I haven't seen that many, but all the 3-hole TAs I've seen have been from Integras. My set has "SR3" written on it in grease pen, and I'm about 95% sure that's a Honda designation. I am unsure about what the "SE0" means, but I think it's an Acura designation.
Beck/Arnley PN#051-6005, which (apparently) uses a Koyo bearing set:
http://img487.imageshack.us/im...q.jpg
B/A 051-6005 Hub/Bearing Inner Diameter:
http://img487.imageshack.us/im...q.jpg
Looks like 1.181" (30mm) to me...
(also notice that the 92-95 Civic w/rear disc brakes uses this hub)
http://www.mvreader.com/cgi-bi...ry=DN
Here is a pic of the hub that came with my purchase:
http://img475.imageshack.us/im...x.jpg
It's not well-lit, but the engraving around the inner races reads "NTN... HUB005-39... JAPAN WL" (almost the same engraving as the ABS hub ("... JAPAN NH"). I am unsure as to what MFR/PN this is (as an assembly), but I now know it's compatible with Honda PN 42200-SR3-A06 (assuming Beck-Arnley's site is correct).
Spindle diameter (outter shaft):
http://img487.imageshack.us/im...f.jpg
Looks like 1.181" (30mm) to me.
I am 99.99999999999...% sure that BCA/National #512034 is the to same specs as B/A #051-6005. I am 99% sure that Honda #42200-SR3-A06, and about 98% sure that "K7001-55818" (SKU at places like autobarn, partspalace, drivewire, etc.??) are to the same specs.
Spindle:
http://img485.imageshack.us/im...c.jpg
I had previously purchased and returned the TAs for a 88-91 Civic/CRX, and I distinctly remember seeing "R23" and "J" stamped on the right side spindle (in places A and B, respectively). When I am finished cleaning it (or enough to reveal any markings), I'll post what I find on my current set.
So after all that, I'm 98% sure I have the TA from a 92-00 Civic/Del Sol w/rear disc brakes. Tell us how your set compares when you measure things out...
JasonGhostz

88-91 Civic/CRXs use Beck-Arnley #051-6052. This part was also used for the 90 Integra RS (and compatible). The weird thing is that Honda PN 42200-SH3-018 comes up for the 91 CRX SI, while 42200-SE0-008 comes up for a 90 Integra 3D RS. I don't know what this means in terms of their compatibility, as I would think they'd use the same PNs... oh well...
Hopefully someone will finally do a hub/spindle write-up or FAQ... at least for 4x100 bolt patterns.
