Huge  to Rocket Motorsports.
As some of you know, I broke my Camshaft not too long ago, which was a Rocket m22 cam. And yea it sucked really bad, but I have to say, Rocket Motorsport's has the best customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. Robert is a great guy, and a great seller. I'd vouche for him any day. He never once complained about all my questions, i know i got annoying at some point . He had quick responses, took care of me really really well. There was never a doubt in my mind that my head wouldn't get fixed. I still have yet to get my head, which should be sometime this week, but that's fine, becuase the way Robert handled everything he earned great trust with me. I plan to do business with him in the future for new project as well.
Just wanted to say thanks

Very coo!
When I got the head, I noticed that the vtec rockers on the #1 and 2 cylinder were worn. When this happens, valves usually break. In this instance it was the camshaft.
I can only speculate why only the #1 and 2 cylinder vtec rockers were worn but cams/valves don't have a chance when this happens. So Bryan, if you are using synthetic oil I suggest switching to a high quality non-synthetic.
I replaced the worn rockers with some really good used ones I had available. I also changed the valvesprings to the softer G2 to make doubly sure aint nothing bad gonna happen. (We personally always use G1 springs in our motors though, no problems).
Also I coated the rockers with our cam lube so keep the head in a dust free envrionment till you install the head.
Here's a pic with of the head with 2 new exhaust valves.

my opinions:
synthetic oils
castrol (without the gold seal in the front)
mobil one 0w-40
look at the back of these, you should see ACEA-A3 rated.
most other synthetics, including castrol and mobil's other weights/lines of oil are only rated ACEA-A1.
synthetic blends i like:
castrol (great base oil)
doesn't really burn, however haven't used too many others..but i won't need to. great oil for the price.
best conventional:
penzoil. supposedly has the best additive package among all conventionals. i heard the walmart conventional oil is great too..cheap and good additive package.
i noticed this **** didn't really burn too much even when i drove harshly with it.

I have to say good job as well...
Rocket there's a reason so many of us look up to you...and it's good to know you really come through. Not to mention it's good to see a POSITIVE thread on someone now and again!

this is awesome. Its not often enough that we hear abour a stand up product and business. Mistakes will happen no matter what, its how a business reacts to them that makes the difference. Rocket is top notch

For oil, I like PepBoys 10w30, Kendal GT1 non-syntetic, or Valvoline Race.
Thing is, cams is our signature product. I'll be the first to admit that as a product perf cams are extremely difficult to sell and provide after sale support because of the power expectation they carry and the difficulty of properly installing cams and making them work since their performance is very dependant on valvesprings, head, IM, exhaust, cam gears, lash settings etc.
This is they same we we approach with our other products and services but like I said before it's our camshafts that we are mainly known for.
