My XTD Stage II is being installed on my car right now. As soon as I get the car back, I'll come back and let you guys know how it is ( after I break it in and really push it ). On the Integra forums, people only have good things to say about the XTD Stage III 6-puck clutch.

My cousin had a 96 accord with a stage 3 XTD and it would grab so hard sometimes, it would literally stall the car and cut it off. If I were you, id make sure I had decent power from the engine before installing it. Its a sweet clutch but grabs much too hard for a weak engine. Then again, I dont think he ever got the chance to break the clutch in fully.

Hope this helps

i had the XTD Stage II 4 Puck on my ls and everyone at my shop said it was the smoothest engaging clutch they ever drove and grab soo damn good i doubted it also but i coud never regret it XTD been around for some time but trust me its worth the money

jus let the clutch brake in b4 u drive hard with it u can press jus baby it into gears cuz it dont feel right when u push the car when the clutch hasn't broken in yet

im using the xtd stg3 6 puck or whatever it is in my crx ls-turbo, havent driving it yet but only on a cement slab, engaged good and hard, i was kinda tempting about it also because its from ebay but seems like it's gonna do fine. one thing i did notice was there isnt much material on the clutch disc itself but then again alot of 6 pucks are like that.

im using the xtd stage 3 6 puck on my 01 gs, it chatters like a mother when you first install it but after about 1000 miles it starts to smooth out. i installed mine about 3 months ago. it still chatters a little bit but i think that my rear motor mount is bad so that would add to the problem. so far so good, and they have decent customer service. i would buy from them again. hopefully my clutch lasts more than a year unlike those piece of **** napa clutches

^^haha it didnt, look further in the thread for ending results

Yup! I'm boosted with the XTD Stage 1 clutch. It doesn't chatter or anything like that. It only chatters when going in reverse, but then again, the clutch isn't broken in yet. I too have a bad motor mount, so that can be a cause to the problem as well. Otherwise, the clutch is fine. Like everyone says, it's so soft and grips hard. XTD = Best bang for the buck!

isn't the stage 1 full-faced and spring hub + marcel spring? that would explain super soft . . . i'm pretty sure the stage 3 is sprung hub 6-puck, which would explain the chattering.

Intersting thing is that mine chatters only in reverse, but the clutch that was on there prior had no chattering problems in reverse.

I have an XTD Stage 1, which was supposed to have a Heavy Duty pressure plate and a Exedy full face race clutch disk that would support 30% more torque than a stock clutch, so they said. When my clutch arrived, it was the Exedy Unity disk, which is the OEM disk, and after installation, the pressure plate is as soft as stock. So I don't see how this setup is supposed to handle 30% more torque than stock, just slick advertising if you ask me.

It has been 1,000 miles now, and it feels just like stock. I pitched a hissie fit, and they shipped me a sprung 6-puck at no cost. And when this clutch disk can't handle my NA B18A1 buildup with 404's and raised compression, I will swap in the 6 puck. I do give them props for customer service, but advertising a OEM as a performance clutch is deceptive in my book. Before I ordered the clutch, I asked them 3 times if the clutch disk was the Exedy Organic race disk, and 3 times they said yes, then sent me the damn Unity OEM disk, sons of bitches, lol.

not sure bout those i used the Findanza which i guess wasn't bad but pretty light (7.5lbs) but ran pretty good with turbo helped me spool reall quick. i used the 4 puck clutch kit which had only a little chatter when breakin in and after that was mostly in jus reverse or pullin out of 1st gear when jus easin off the clutch. but i loved the XTD clutch kit i know i will use this kit again
