I love USDM!! DB7 to DC2
Its been a crazy summer, so I thought Id share my fun! So I sold my 94 DB7 (close to what I wanted for it) and I picked up my buddy's 99 DC2 for a price I couldnt resist. I was hesitant to sell my four door at first but Ive always wanted a coupe. So this was my best chance. It was a GSR and on top of that it was Taffeta white! Ive always wanted a white GSR. Theyre pretty rare here in Canada so that was another bonus. Well its been 2.5 months and Im loving it!!
Onto the pics!
My old car, which I miss sometimes since it was my first car. Its had its ricey moments but I learned my lesson!
My new car:
The car wasnt stock when I got it, it had:
Suspension Technique springs on Stock shocks
Blacked out headlights
Short shifter
Rear Strutbar
ITR Cams
Vibrant Muffler with straight through piping (loud as expletive!)
Blue painted calipers
Clear corners
OEM Fogs
and the front end (hood, bumper, fenders, mirrors) needed repaint bad because it was covered in stone chips.
After two months of owning it I changed up a few things more to my liking..I threw on some parts that I kept from my old Sedan and added a few new things..
From the Sedan:OEM ITR Lip, OEM ITR Strut Bar, SRR LCA's, DC Lower Tie Bar, Spoon Reservoir Covers, Mugen Rad Cap, Catz 4300K HID kit, S2K Antenna, OEM Ambers and a few other little things that Im forgetting.
I swapped out the Suspension Technique springs for these:
Replaced the loud *** exhaust with a Tanabe Hyper Medallion:
Also got a few other things:JDM ITR Recaros, Megan Racing C-Pillar Bar, Spoon Air Cleaner.I also got a stock set of headlights, repainted the calipers black, painted the fog lights yellow, repainted the front end, shaved all the moldings, badges and spoiler.Im thinking of selling my rims and getting a different set. I think its kinda gay that I recycled my rims onto my next car. It just doesnt look as good as it did on the Sedan.
Anyways let me know what you guys think! Sorry for the long *** post!

Re: I love USDM!! DB7 to DC2 (MarkZeroNine)
Damn you jumped ship eh.... That's too bad, now I wont be your friend no more. lol
Nice switch bro, but I could see why you switched. If only it was a DB8 to start out with, I think you woulda thought twice before the switch.
