Someone put a lock on my bike...
So I'm at work and I go outside to jump on my bike to go to the bank, I put it in first gear and and ease of the clutch and gas it a little when all of a sudden BAM the bike just jerks. I almost fell off the thing, so I start looking around to see what's up with the bike and find that somebody put a disc lock on my rear rotor. I'm so ****** pissed right now and if it was somebody in the office I hope they don't come out and admit it cause I will seriously beat somebody's ***, you just don't play around like that.

Re: Someone put a lock on my bike... (backlash)
It didn't brake anything, but as soon as I find out who did it I'm gonna break something on the person responsible. Seriously this is not a joke to me, I mean I'm down with jokes and all but not like this. I'm going to be reviewing the surveillance tape tomorrow.

Well I got it off, my cousin came with some 4 ft. bolt cutter and it cut through it like a hot knife through butter . I can't wait to view the tape though I wanna know who it was.

Keep us posted. This is interesting. Yea, and what they did is considered assault. You can press charges. And with the surveillance tape, you'll win. I'd prosecute all the way.

wow, I wouldn't be surprised if they put the lock on there to prevent you from riding it home only to come back later to steal your bike. Good thing you have cameras available at your job!

Maliciously tampering w/a vehicle to cause a crash. Might as well be going around cutting people's brake lines. Sucks to be them.

That won't stop theft though ,my brother knows a guy who got his 1000rr stolen from his work parking lot. The surveillance camera caught the guy being dropped off in a truck with no plates, and caught him riding off with the bike.

Re: (Home Skillet)
I work for CSK Auto. Which is corporate for Checker Shucks Kragen stores. I parked my bike in the first parking spot in front of the store
Okay I seen the tape and it was a young white guy in an older sportster style bike. I came into work at 8:07 a.m. and he pulls in at 8:10 a.m. he walks around my bike walks into the store for a minute, literally, and walks right out. He leaves and comes back parks behind a big black truck goes up to my bike and puts the lock on. He then gets on his phone walks around somemore and then gets on his bike and gets right next to mine looks at it one more time then he leaves, all these events took place from 8:07 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. If I see this bike again and the guy there's gonna be trouble.
I parked my bike in the same exact spot after I came back from lunch, I gave the store assosiate's my number's and told them that if he comes back to give me a call.

Re: (MSchu)
I left a nice little post it on the bike just in case.
It reads, "hey ******** I see you want my bike. I took your lock off too, if you want it ask the cashiers in the store for it. I now know what you ride and what you look like thanx to the camera's"

I wish. The guy was pretty smart by parking behind a big truck, so you know he's done this before. I mean he passed by a few times but not in a angle to get a plate number.
