**Official N11 CRX Picture Thread** (T1 Death)
Well I dont really know where to start with this thread. Everything was fun and then sorta went absolutely crazy. I know that at 10:30am Im not the only one who is going without sleep in the last 24 hours plus.
The meet itself was very nice. A lot of nice CRXs from all over Canada and the US showed up and props to the guys in the US who came from places like Georgia, Idaho, Virgina, etc etc. And for the CRX guys who came from Montreal and all over Ontario. Not to mention some HT members who flew all the way from Holland to attend the meet. Nice to meet both of you.
Even though Im on dial up and half passed out ill try and describe what the hell is going on in some of these pics. I have to wait for them to upload etc so bear with my crappy spelling and whatever horrible descriptions that may arrise due to my lack of sleep.
I left on Friday to head down to the meet since my Grandma lives very close to where the meet was held and I stayed over there at her house that night. That day I took the 3 pictures above infront of her barn when I was bored.
Chris's CRX
Winner of best / cleanest motor swap.
This is by far the cleanest nicest 1st Gen CRX Ive ever seen. Its got like 81K miles and is in absolute mint shape. It even smells new on the inside. The car was so clean I couldnt find the smallest scratch anywhere on the inside, outside, or in the engine bay. The lady who owned this car takes very good care of it. This is the quality that you would see on the showroom floor back in 87 when this car came out. More pictures below.
This guy is a hardcore sleeper EF Civic. Hubcaps over rims to make it look very stock. There are some more pics below of this car.
Just a real nice and clean CRX with the new VIS JDM front bumper like the Mugen copy.
Cleanest 2nd Gen CRX at the show. He came from Georgia to the meet. His car is almost perfect.

This is Aaron (I think that is his name) from Weiracing. He did all the work and fabrication on his own. He even made a custom fuel cell in the back of his car. Still kicking myself for not being able to take a pic before he left, but I bet other people did.
2nd Gen B16 CRX for sale. $7200 CDN if you are interested. I think the price is a little big negotiable.
CRX with EK Civic front end conversion. The work on the car was done very nicely and he missed best exterior / show car by like 1 vote. A lot of time and effort went into this car.
Winner of best paint of the show.
Im pretty sure this guy won for best audio.
JDM CRX Exclusive Interior anyone? Very very nice interior. He won for best interior. Absolutly stunning work. Anyone have CRX Exclusive rear speaker covers post on the CRX Montreal board. He is killing for a pair.
S2000 seats? Im not 100% sure. But whatever they are they look really nice.

Everyone meeting up at about 3pm or so when they gave out awards, prizes and had a little auction to help pay for the meet.
Now here is when things get interesting. This is like at 5:15pm or so. This is when everything was fine at the camp ground.
At this point we had already gone out for supper at Swiss Chalet and then headed up to the Beer Store and the Liquor store. You can guess what that lead too.
We were told that the wood for the fire was generally located in the direction that someone pointed. So in the Gazebo there was like 1000 planks of wood just sitting there. So we naturally assumed that this was the fire wood for the fires. But the wood was not burning too well even after starting it with WD-40. So we had to look for better burnable substances.
Can you guess what we used?
Thats right. CRX DX Seats. Man those things are wicked to get a fire going. I mean really going.

Holy ****! The fire is getting a little out of hand. The flames were burning the tree and the black fumes and smoke were smelly as hell. But man it made us warm up.
This is when most of the foam of the seats was done and the fire started to die down.
This is Mike with his, "Thats right bitch! I can start a JDM fire!" pose.
These pics were taken at about 4:30am. At this time Golf Cart Bob came out to scream, swear, make fun of, extort, threaten, blackmail and belittle us. I guess that wood we used was special to him. So he charged us $70 for the like 20 pieces of wood that we burnt. He was threatening to call the cops if we didnt leave his property immediately. He was telling us that we were not men and how we were never going to be men for burning his special wood. However he never said anything about the tree that we uprooted from the forest and put on the fire.
Thanks to some wicked Dutch ingenunity, smarts, and ability to stay calm we were able to stay the night with only having to clean up the 300 bottles of beer on the ground and he wouldnt call the cops because everyone was absolutely smashed (except me).
The DX Seat remains.
We tried to hide the tree that we uprooted by just throwing it back in the forest. As you can tell it didnt really work out too well LOL.
I think there was more beer elsewhere. But still not too bad.

I at this point attempted to sleep in my CRX and noticed Gay written on the back window. But I couldnt sleep. Too many misquitos in my CRX and they were biting. So I just manned up and headed out the hour and a half ride home on no sleep.
This is the last pic that I have. This pic shows the other side of the field where the tree was taken from to use for firewood. They hauled it pretty far. But when your hammered anything is possible.
Once again I am very happy to have met a lot of you. It was funny that none of you guys knew me but then when they asked if I was on HT or where ever and I told them that I was CRX Forum everyone seemed to be nicer and wanted to hear some stories or just talk. Im pretty sure that 1 of them is going to be on the Niagara meet DVD that is coming out. So get that DVD to support the Niagara meet so that we can do this all again next year. But someone has to find a better camp ground LOL. What did Golf Cart Bob say again, "You ******* bastards are banned from this camp ground for life!"
Sorry I didnt get to say goodbye to everyone there. I just needed to get home before I became too tired and couldnt wait 2 more hours or so for you guys to get up and/or sober up. So if I didnt IM you appoligising for not saying goodbye sorry about that. Just too many screen names to remember. So nice to have met you all and hope to see you all again soon.

But yeah there's a select few nice cars there but a vast majority aren't' my style , I guess there just a little too "unique" for me

Its too many pics to go back and do a quote, but the Sleeper EF and white CRX with the yellow headlights were hot. Also the Blue JDM EF w/ 03 Civic wheels was nice too

although i was highly embarrassed by the behavior at the campsite, it was so disrespectful..
thats 2 campsites the niagara meets have been banned from... not setting the best example eh?

awesome pictures.
really bummed i couldnt go. was planning on making the trek with my buddies- the two boosted eg's(grey hatch, white del sol) and the white jdm front/red wheel hatch and the sleeper, but i couldnt make it, had to work.
looks like it was a great event....

Damn this is a big thread. Looked alot of fun CrxForum What camp grounds did you guys go to? The last couple of pics looks very similar to the group campsites at Earl Rowe Provincial Park up in Aliston. If you guys keep getting banned from all these sites, head up there. I'll be there this thursday till sunday with a couple of Bud's of mine.

i was there both nights when golfcart bill came and threw a fit.
i watched what was goin on and there was nothing out of the ordinary happening that a bunch of guys under 25 wouldnt do. drinking by a camp fire, telling stories.
if you are were so embarassed why didnt you say something then maybe people would of respected you and toned it down... but it aparently wasnt important then..
but now that your on the internet 2 days later you seam to have a problem with it...
who is suposted to be setting the example... and what people are suposted to be examining it.
