i really wanna paint my hx wheels bronze, but do u have ne tips for me in this process? my ideas were to aircraft paint strip the existing gunmetal paint from the previous owner, then primering it, then spray it w/ bronze wheel paint, and clear coating it. and also does your paint chip or flakes the method u used to paint your hx wheels? thanks in advance.

It takes a lot of time to paint wheels, you have to have a lot of patience. First, I aircraft paint strip the existing grey color on the HX wheel until every single little paint is gone and of course i water it down. Then i went ahead and primered the wheels with only one coat. I waited a few minutes then I did one layer of the color paint i wanted the wheel from bottom to top and then repeat the step x2. Wait about 20 minutes for paint to dry and then go ahead and clear coat it and let it dry
Try to get wheel paint, it might be best

Re: (slayersluck)
It surprises me, but I really like the green rims!
Here is a photo of mine;
The brakes are DA's on EX civic spindles (89 hatchback). The reason for no center cap is that I'm planning on putting 89 SI hub-caps over them.
