Trying to get started on wire tuck.
There was a thread on the removal of the AC which answered some, but not all of my questions, so decided to start my own thread. Also considering that this thread could turn into a very good informative one aswell.
Im a NewB at this wiring stuff, so id figure i would ask you guys on what i can and cannot remove.
I have a 89 Si hb which Im in the process of swaping in a eg sohc dx motor and upgrading to OBD1.
Any info. is appreciated and thanks in advance...here goes...
This is the pass. side front of engine bay by headlight
The relay in the green box is for the headlights right? I know i will be able to tuck that away. I dont know what the relay is for in the yellow box...and can it be removed???

im pretty sure the white box is just grounds. i mounted that inside the fender well when i hid my headlight wires along w/ the bigger box beside it, which is the relay box for headlight/markers.

Yeah that white box is just a housing for most of all of the lights. The relay beside it is for the radiator fan. Both can be relocated, mine are almost directly behind my blinker. I had to extend almost every wire.

Yeah..that's right...the white box is the ground for most of the front "stuff" and the one beside it is for the fan. I actually relocated most of the grounds inside the cabin as well as that relay. All in all...wire tucking an EF isn't too bad. For an even cleaner look, relocate the Fuse box. There are a couple helpful threads on this...I remember a white CRX and a red Hatch that did this. My thread in my sig also has some pics of how I did mine...check it out. I believe the pics are on page 3.
I'll try to find the creators of the other threads, too.

Yup, those are for the air conditioning...and if you do remonve the a/c...these get remonved as well.

one is for the regular fan and one for the a/c i thought? i forget, i know i took out the plug for the a/c fan...iirc it was part of the a/c harnless like he took out?

holy crap, im wrong!
green is NOT the radiator plug. the bigger, (female?) harness side of the radiator fan is green, but the electrical harness plug is not green.
BOTH plugs for the AC harness are green for each plug.
my apologies.
so yeah, thats an AC harness probably, but still dont cut anything. just remove it completely.

yeah, sorry for the confusion. i double checked with my car.
this is the radiator plug. what this goes into is green however. but it looked like all the AC plugs were green too.

i took them relays out and followed the wire back to the fuse box under the hood i took out the white clip that went next to the (2) 15amp fuses now it goes into the fire wall into a gromet ----- do i cut it or where does it lead to to unplug it ??? -------and takin out them relays near the batt and headligh wont mess anything up

Just as long as you hook up the grounds to metal, you'll be fine.

As for the two clear looking boxes on each side of the car, those are grounds. SO...just as long as all the grounds are connected somewhere on the car that's metal, you'll be fine.

Your not wrong really.
I have looked at 3 crx's and 1 hatch.
2 of the crx used green/green plugs, the hatch and the other crx both used white/green
