Default problems w/drag manifold

have any of u experienced any problems w/ur drag3 manifold? cracking, overheating, etc..just wondering and wats a good replacement..

From what I have read and researched, it seems that the Drag 2 manifolds were prone to cracking. The drag 3 manifold is a better design, it should not crack if installed properly. I recommend using a flex pipe with the manifold.

I never had any trouble with my drag manifold. Only issue is that when I was running 3" exhaust and 3" DP boost would spike pretty high. I got the maxrev manifold and the spiking issues are gone now

I still thank kabir for pointing this out

4 years,35000 miles on Drag 2 manifold,works great.

so does a 3" dp w/3" exhaust always typically produce boost spikes for the drag3 kit or some other problem u had w/ur car?

LsTurbo91 and I (and several others) had boost spike issues when we moved to full 3" DP and exhaust. Once we replaced the DRAG manifold the spike issues went away. Draw your own conclusions

It's the location of the wastegate (only on cyl #1 runner).
