Product Review: Flitz Metal Polisher ***As seen on TV***
Alright so I've seen this stuff adveritised on TV and thought to myself, "Does this really work?"
First off this stuff isn't cheap. The package that I bought which includes (1) Buffing ball and (1) 4oz container of Flitz metal polish set me back $30.00. I bought it at Boat US. Only other thing you'll need is a drill to attach the buffing ball to and you're good to go.
Here's what I was working with:
Pretty grimy if I do say so myself Everyone knows that the ladies don't like a nasty looking muffler.
After jacking up the car and removing my rear lip (for easier access) I applied a light even coat (as per the directions) and proceeded to buff. This stuff is great because the drill does all the work. This is after about 5 minutes. Already showing an improvement.
I periodically applied a small amount to a rag and wiped it on th muffler and muffler tip and continued to polish. It's important that I mention I used a corded "high speed" Milwaukee drill. Results may vary depending on what drill you use. After a total of 30 minutes or so I ended up with this:
Pretty damn good if I do say so myself. I'm definately happy w/ the results. I also ended up doing my lower tie bar while I was at it.
In closing, I give Flitz In under an hour I went from the ladies doing this when they saw my muffler to . Yeah life is good
Beauty shot for good measure (go ahead and run my plates):

Yes I did. I took a 30 minute drive afterward and it still looked good from what I could tell.

Yes it was to me. Maybe it's not worth it to you.

If I had gone that route I wouldn't have been able to make this cool thread. Attention from complete strangers on an internet message board is worth the $24.00 to me any day.

You didn't tell us where you got it. Im suprised no one has ragged on your wheels AGAIN..., must be a slow day on honda-tech . I've always liked your car for some reason reminds me of my accord I had dropped on some 17inch TSW's like 3 years ago.
