Foad, no you bastard. I was planning to boost my C5 R-swapped hatch and sold it. I was relying on you for R boosted hatch power after that.

Dont buy his car!

Though he is a good guy

not to flame but aem and dc sports are not high end parts, if you are going to paint a car paint the whole thing. ctr are not a good choice to turbo ecspecially with full race stage 2. did you plan on lowering compression. the ctr was made to be a high reving allmotor car. it probably has less power now if you put those dc sports headers on there and the intake with no computer tuning. in my opinion i would part it out if you want to sell it.

I think the DC header and AEM intake were temporary, and if you are gonna base your statement on two bolt on parts, then to you. And as far as lowering the compression, it was something he knew all along. The price he wants for it is very good for the car. If you wanted an all tuned totally done up car, you would be paying twice his asking price. I hate when people ruin others threads. It appears however you know a lot about Hondas, but unless you have a track ***** show stopping car, this is all just flaming for the sake of being negative.

This is what i love about hondas, people like you that are skeptical of what people are trying to do, and people like ek9 that are trying to do something differnt. The main group of thought says high compression is bad for turbo, but check out what tony the tiger did with it.

i have seen that car along time ago and it is no where near a stock motor. you don't see full-race building any ctr turbo becuase it is a waist unless you have alot of money to build it. the stage 2 is to much for a stock motor. it says it is a good turbo if you plan on building later. normally i leave these type of threads alone but it pissed me of to see this setup. some stupid kid who doesn't really know that much is going to buy this car and blow the engine up with in a year. what a waste of one of the best motors honda has made. also if it was such a good setup why aren't you keeping the car. don't even start this internet thug **** either it is just lame. i never wanted to start a big arguement i just wanted to inform the people that don't know that much and see oh ctr and a full-race turbo i got to buy it and then realize it was a mistake. which i am pretty sure you just realized. oh yeah don't even try to say you were going to paint it when you put the turbo on becuase you don't even pull the engine to put it on. plus it would have been cheaper to paint it all at once.

I guess you can do internals while the engine is in the car? Also he hadnt planned on a turbo set up, he was going to do ITB's and an all motor car but decided he wanted to do something different. The turbo is not on so it can still be an all motor car to who ever buys it, the turbo is seperate or an extra xxx to the price of the car. the engine was in when it was painted, buying this car would hardly be a mistake, it looks nice, handles nice, is nice, and all the work was done with mechanics that work at honda dealers and are real mechanics, so its no jimmy rigged pos.

itb's and a nice head package would have been perfect. but to me it looks like he had a turbo kit with no internals and realized it would not be a good idea to build that setup. now he is trying to push it off on someone else. i was never trying to ruin his tread and if it got ruined it was becuase it was a shitty idea. i think how the car sits now it is a nice car but you guys are trying to push it off as a full-race ctr. also i suggested that he part it out becuase he could probably get more money out of it so i am not really being a **** TARD. 3500- 3750 for the motor, 3500 -4000 depending on which stage 2 it is, 2000-3000 for the shell and another 1000-2000 worth of extra's. all i was trying to do is stop all te people on here that try to sell off there half done projects to under educated kids that think they are getting such a deal. also he never said anything about doing internals so that is why i made my statement about being able to just slap it on. also what is the point of buying a ctr if you are going to lower the compression and change the bottom end. it is the best bottom end honda ever built and it should be left that way. if you want to sell it as a turbo car i would suggest selling the ctr putting in a b16a and put the turbo on that you probably would have better luck selling it. it will also run a lot nicer.
