Type R (x) in JDM
I've tried searching several different ways and don't turn up threads about the JDM Type R(x) that was sold for a couple of years.
I have a brochure for this car and would like more information about it, if somebody's aware of the right way to search of could point me to the relevant threads.
Thanks from a noob.

If you want to search H-T and find the search engine failing you, http://www.google.com lets you restrict a search to a particular site and has more powerful string searches.
This google search, for example, finds 7 results in H-T:
<U>site:https://honda-tech.com integra "Type RX"</U>
http://www.google.com/search?h...RX%22
Marlon88 has one.
https://honda-tech.com/gara...=2900
Do you know Japanese? I don't.
http://www.honda.co.jp/sportsc....html
The Automobile Association of Singapore likes English:
http://www.aas.com.sg/features/archive/f03011.htm
What we have here is the 2,000-spec Integra Type R. More accurately, this particular model is sold as the Type RX in Japan. Honda included more luxury items for this trim level such as dual airbags, aluminium pedals, carbon fibre dashboard panels, a keyless entry system, electrically foldable side mirrors and a six-speaker sound system.
More importantly, some of the performance goodies have been improved too, compared to the original Integra Type R, which was first introduced in 1996. The hand-assembled 1.8l twin-cam engine now pumps out 200bhp (previously 195bhp) and it boasts a new header and improved intake and exhaust ports. Connected to it is a closer-ratio five-speed manual transmission with a sportier clutch.
The F1-derived double wishbone suspension has been further refined and the bodyshell has been made more rigid. Lightweight 16-inch alloys are used in favour of the previous 15-inch items for better handling and the HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlamps provide better visibility than those of the older model when driving hard at night.
But to what extent does it move like a race car? The Integra is undoubtedly quick in a straight line but don't expect it to outrun rally replicas like the Subaru Impreza WRX or Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in a sprint. On the other hand, the Honda's pin-sharp steering and superb handling balance mean that it can make its rivals wet their pants on a racetrack.
With this level of ability available in a sub-2l, front-wheel drive, naturally-aspirated car, it's clear that top-level racing has done something invaluable for Honda. And with the company's recent re-entry into F1 (1999) after a six-year break, we can't wait for the next generation of "Racing" Hondas to be born.

Re: Type R (ekay_jeremy)
so essentially the type Rx is like our 00-01 R's (keyless entry, six speaker system, dual airbags, etc) so the only things that are different is pedals and folding mirrors. correct me if i' am wrong.

Re: Type R (cryptikman)
Hello guys
Integra Type Rx came only in 2000 and 2001 , It had aluminium sports pedals, retractable mirrors, more carbon fiber in the dash, digital clock, Factory powerfull sound system, factory tinted glass ( rear quarterlight/rear window ), keyless entry unlock and no third brake light .
I used to have the JDM honda website but I lost it , it said on the Type Rx that they was only offerd in JDM yellow and only with black recaros but if you want you can order them in yellow ( very rare yellow recaros) There was also said that only 5000 were made Type Rx , and I think it`s true because I have a number (not the ITR number) but I have a Integra TypeRx 2151 engraved on the dash.
All the items that come stundart in the Type Rx I know for shure because i have them in Mine , but the other stuff I read them on the JDM Honda website , wich I think it`s true.
see ya

You sure about the colours? My Type Rx brochure features a CW car.
Some rather rough photos of this brochure are at http://members.aol.com/georgeknighton/Type_R_X.zip if you want them. I think there are six photos inside the zip file.

Re: Type R (BryanSprinkel)
Damn, I've never seen a Type-<FONT COLOR="red">R</FONT>x brochure before. Where did you find that at?
BTW, the ITRx pedals are sweet! Same design as S2000 and DC5-R pedals. I got mine for a little over $150 shipped from http://aj-racing.com
.....more pics of the brochure please

Hmm. The brochure doesn't list it as an option, although I'm sure an enterprising dealer could've installed it.
