Default Phantom Plate PhotoBlocker License Plate Spray

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...=6755
Has anyone had any experience with this stuff for your licence plate? Its for the cameras that take your pic when you run a red or yellow light or just not stop on the ******* off ramps that have the cameras. Then they mail you a ticket a week later. Any input.

what i've heard it wont work because it relies on a flash and it whites it out, but most new cameras work very well in low light et cetera so i dont think it would work

Stop running red lights! Sounds like a high gloss clear coat and the 30 day money back guarantee is kinda whacked.

**** 30 day money back guarantee ****
Provided the Can is unused

How does "PHOTOBLOCKER" work?
Photo radar cameras often utilize a strong flash to photograph the license plate on your car as it speeds by. "PHOTO BLOCKER's" special formula works to reflect the flash back to the camera. Result is an overexposed and unreadable picture, often preventing a costly ticket.

Well if you look on their site they have the download from the news show fox did on it and they said it worked. I also want to get the plastic plate cover. Here in Phoenix they are big on the traffic light cams.

They covered this topic on Myth Busters, but it was for trying to bust the radar that cops use, and nothing they tried worked, so I would assume this wouldnt work too well either especially because of what soccerking said.

Saw this on techtv, either spring or early summer this year. It didn't work all that well, if I remember correctly. And it's illegal in a lot of states. You can clearly see that the plate is a lot shinier with the stuff sprayed on it. Probably another one of those gimick wastes of $. Save your $ and buy some injector cleaner, or something that will actually benefit your car. Just my opinion.

LoL

interesting question... The cameras that we have here in CAli where I live have a real bright flash on them. It's like a light show going off when someone runs that red...

If it works, I would consider using it but I'm not trying to give anyone an extra reason to pull me over...

Be careful with the plastic plate. I got pulled over last month for mine and got a $275 fine and 1 point on my license for "deliberately concealing the vehicles registration plates". They even confiscated the cover.

you will never know unless you deliberately run a red light. try it and let us know if you get a ticket.

you would think that the plastic cover would work. it has these little grooves in it (forgot what the hell it's called) where you can only see the plate when you're directly behind it, eye level. like turbo E 604 said, buy it, run a red and let us know if you get a ticket or not. ht has your back bro! lol

Now that might actually work.... but its obvious enought for a cop to pull ya over for it.

Seems like in broad daylight the flash would dissipate in the sunlight and not really reflect back too much.

Did it ever occur to anyone that the cops testing the product might say it works good so you will spray it on then run lights all over town, only to find out too late that it's a load of crap and you have a fistful of tickets??

no ****
instead of spending money on trying to beat tickets, just dont get them

running red lights is stupid just slow the **** down. the 30 seconds you save on your trip arent worth a ticket or worse.

How about umm . . . stopping like you're supposed to. Have you ever considered that? It's free

What if some ******* sprays his license plate and goes around running red lights, only to T-bone your car in an intersection? How would you feel about that?

Anyone who buys a product like this is brain-dead. Do you think this **** is just going to magically enable you to blow any red light you want? Do you blow red lights where there aren't cameras? It's about the equivalent of making crack legal - just because you're able to do it, does that make it any more smart to do?

i posted earlier about the plastic cover and like everybody is saying, JUST OBEY THE TRAFFIC LAWS. but for us so cal guys, the spray or plastic cover might be useful for Fastrak (toll roads that uses cameras ((no flash, but a bright *** light where the camera takes the picture)) if it doesn't detect a sensor in your car). i've gone through fastrak 3 times in one day cause i was late for a dinner and it costed me $80. anyways, back on topic, OBEY THE LAWS!, **** FASTRAK! money hungry bitches lol

How bout you just don't do illegal **** in the first place? Better to be out two minutes of your time waiting at a red light than getting broadsided by a semi because you were in a hurry.
