Default ***Pro looking shots for senior project***

I posted a while ago about doing photogrpahy for my senior project. Well a couple days ago I went out on my own to test my skills and get an idea of what I can really do with the camera and editing the pictures. Still no tripod though but some pictures turned out pretty good. ANY suggestions are always a plus, even tips on using photoshop. I used an Olympus Camedia 2.1 megapixel D-510 Zoom camera and Adobe Photoshop 7 to edit them Let me know what you guys think!!

It's a tight avatar what can I say sorry I'll find another one sooner or later...And yes some of those pics are dark, mostly cause they were taken at sunset and at the end of the sunset (i.e. really close to night time) but compared the the originals (which i didnt post) I think they look 10 times better but thanks for the comments guys!!

The gauges were the first thing I bought for the car basically. I think they'll look better once they have the silver trim around them like the audi's and stuff. But trust me they aren't the cheap kind for $25...they are the actual 3-D ones (if you can't tell from the pic), I personally don't think they are too ricey though they have kinda gone outta "style" a bit I guess you could say

Hahahaha...well the project isnt actually due till April (basically a year long process) and it's just the begining. I won't really be graded on the actual pictures its more or less time spent, things learned and then at the end we give a presentation which in my case will be a photo book of my progress and some a of my favorite shots. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1040763 What the Senior Poject is all about

yeah a better camera along with a tripod will be soon to come I hope. I know cameras arent that expensive now a days but I'll see how my pictures turn out when I use professional lighting and what not. And yes I know the pics are dark, but they do look better then the originals I'm still learning some things here and there on PS but I'll get better at it, thanks for the advice everyone!
