Default Service Check connector to jump when checking Ignition Timing

I went to check my timing last Sat and couldn't find this wire. Helms says it's behind the right kick panel and shows it by the ECM. I found the ECM but I couldn't find the wire. Anybody know where I'm supposed to be able to find it. 94 EX Coupe.

Went and stood on my head looking up behind the glove box. There is a green jacketed wire with a connector not plugged into anything. Is this what I am looking for? It is close to the ECM. It is not plugged into anything. Is the wire I'm looking for already plugged together and need to be unplugged? Thanks for the help.

I checked again and the connector on my green wire is exactly the same kind of connector as your pic except it is light blue. I betting it's the wire I'm looking for. Helms says black and brown. Thanks

you stick a paper clip in the connector.

It doesn't bro. Stick the paper clip in the connector. Then use timing gun to check ignition timing.

it puts the ecu into service mode. you need to do this when adjusting the ignition timing, because with the ecu running in normal mode, it will try to correct your timing.

you noobs need to fork over the $70, get a helms manual, and read it
