FS: ITS/H3 Honda del Sol VTEC
Just to add another one to the list of many, many race cars for sale I'm still working on selling our del Sol race car. This car is a former Motorola Cup championship in compact class, and ran the full 01 Grand Am Cup season in C2K. Since then, the car has gone threw a extensive rebuild to freshen all the major components from the new 0 race mile engine, and the complete body has been straightened and re-sprayed. You'll remember this car as the grey and pink del Sol driven by Bill Roediger. This is an ABS car so its ready to take on any rain race you can throw at it. The car comes complete with FIA seat, new window net and new belts that you won't need to change for the 2 years. The car is complete and 100% legal for ITS and HC and is ready to go for the 2005 season.
This car has run 1.17s at Nelson Ledges, 1.45s at Mid-Ohio, 1.09s at Beaver Run.
It is very clean and very fast.
Any further details can be furnished by me, just PM me.
Price is 8,000 OBO.

the cage was built as a showroom stock cage w/ a petty bar. It does extend to the rear of the car under the window.

Re: FS: ITS/H3 Honda del Sol VTEC (CRXSiR71777@aol.com)
I have seen this car in person and it is put together very well. CRXSiR71777@aol.com and their crew have 7 Honda Race cars in their stable and his family has been in Honda racing for many years now. These people know what they are doing. From what he has told me this car has done very well for itself and has made a couple of magazines if i remember correctly. Damn good price for a fun, full race, pocket rocket.

Cripes. You guys building cars from scratch..WHAT are you thinking?
I have personally raced this car with a good driver in it. It's fast. It's finished. It's also 8000 dollars. Finished. Ready to race.
I don't get it. Why would anyone build a car for twice that (or, more likely, three times that) when they can get one that's done, for darn near pennies on the dollar?
It's definitely a buyers market. Now's the time.
--Karl, who BTW, has an H3 car for sale...

What are the specs on the car? Motor? Trans?
What parts come on it? Suspension? Brakes?
Some out there might want to know this info.

hi.
since it is an H3/ITS car, it must have its stock drivetrain, brakes, suspension. upgrades like springs/shocks/headers/chipped ecu/lsd are allowable. no engine swaps, tranny swaps, brake swaps are allowed.

I guess I'm really having problems with this. Tell me what the price has to be to sell this car? Does it need a big B18 to become an H1 car? Seriously what should I do?

I look at those pictures, and then I look out into my parking lot, and I cry a little.
That car is very, very nice.

i think the market's just kinda flooded?
8000's a decent price, but everyone and their mama is selling their ride, and only tire kickers like myself are out there to drool :\. i'm not sure how many serious buyers are out there right now, at least in this forum?
i guess persistence is the key.
my HC/IT debut is being delayed until i get a real job.

If you say it enough it becomes true.
This is a bad time to sell a car. Not only is the market flooded with great cars, but we're entering the off-season for many regions and people have spent the money they're going to spend with fingers crossed that they can buy food through Christmas.

Re: FS: ITS/H3 Honda del Sol VTEC (travis)
Its hard to keep up with it in the summer, but this car, and all our cars have been for sale for a year, check that, 2 years. I'm trying to be the low ball, just to get rid of these cars. I want to be able to spend my winter building new cars. I'm just really frusterated. Almost to the point of putting it on ebay and praying. Oh well. I know this is the same thing that Jason, the effect guys, me, karl, and everyone else whos selling a car feels.

You guys are the true sickos
Jim, I feel your pain. Truly I do. Fortunately I don't *need* to sell mine, good thing too, I'd probably have to take well less than my 10K asking price in this market. This just further puts off me buying a Radical.
Of course one appeared in this month's Sportscar for $20K. That's right. $20K. Asking price. Now I don't know anything about this particular radical but that's the lowest price for a D Sports one I've ever seen.
Perfect timing, as always

Do you have any picture of your cage you could send me? The cage in my Del Sol is terrible and I am looking to get some ideas for when I have it re-built.
