Default Oaks Racing Prelude 788WHP - Traction setup is complete

While at PFI last night the Prelude layed down 788whp. We just updated the cardomain website with a picture of the dyno graph and some pic of the traction setup. If someone wishes to post them on here thats great.
Axles will be our issue until we can get a Rob Moore Nitro setup. This way we can still use the Quaife lsd and drive on the street - A solid spool and street driving just don't go together. Still up in the air if we will make it to Cali in November NHRA. We will be racing here in Denver the 17th of this month - hoping to see 10's.

This was at 22psi - still power left, its already burning the tires through 3d gear - better than any amusment park ride. The off season will be working on suspention so we can better put the power to the ground.

** Awesome power What tires are you running to get that power down ? even though your burning in 3rd, I guess you must have wide MOF tires on ?

Awesome Power but what how did you treat the transmission so it would handle all the power without shattering?

Just so there is no confusion, I simply posted the pics for him, the 788WHP beast is not mine.

In a FF, heavy chassied car with full interior? That's amazing...

I was surprised he even had headlights.

First off Lude Dude thank for posting the pics from cardomain - I don't know how to post the pics yet.
The slicks are MH 24.5x8
As for the transmission holding the power , well the axles are the weak point right now and they will break before the tranny.
My first thought for only 11's with the thumbs down was to tell him to kiss my ***, but we are all intitled to our openion. We ran the 11.2 with 590 whp have not run the new setup yet at the track, but will in a few weeks. As for the questin is a 9 second pass possible? Time will tell.

As always thanks for the comments

Don't worry Steve, there are always going to be people talking **** because your car only runs XX.XX on the quarter mile. I've learned over time the ones who run their mouth are just jealous because they can't be in the spotlight of attention as you guys are right now. As far as I am concerned, the ONLY thing holding you back from hitting the 10's is of course traction and weight.

As the joke goes... what's the difference between a supra with 600whp and 1100whp? They run the same quarter mile. You can have ALL the power in the world but if you can't put it down it is worthless. Much respect though to you guys for building such a beast of a motor though.... I like it a lot and it definetely opens the eyes up to the world of import racers who are so stuck on the B series motors.

I know for a fact you guys can hit 10's... but it will take a little more work as we have already discussed. And for you guys out there who love to talk so much ****, if Steve were to run this car on the east coast he would EASILY be in the 10's. Some of you forget to factor in altitude.

I'll be looking forward to joining you in the 10 second club in the next couple of months.... except I will do so in an EK. hehe.

By the way, I'm curious as to know what shot of nitrous you guys are running and if you are running them in stages or not.
