Depending on where you're going in Aus this time of year it will be VERY hot, lol.

Brisbane, Queensland here.

How old are you? Depending on your age, you should be able to hire a car no problems.

As skinnyboy said, weather here right now is perfect. Just let us know when you might be over and we'll be able to give you a better idea of how the weather will be.

Post any questions up or feel free to PM me.

I am 24 years old,
is it hot and humid there or just a comfy warm?
I hope to be over there soon. Just waiting for work to confirm that I will be going.

I was in Australia not too long ago. Hopefully you get to spend time in QLD. It's amazing up there and the people in Australia are nothing short of nice. It might shock you because they are simply that nice.

If you do go, go scuba or snorking in the GBR.

Eat the wagyu (kobe) there. It's cheap and it's AMAZING!

If you get the chance to go, definitely go. It's an experience of a lifetime.

The weather varies a lot in Australia, so you will have to let us know where you go exactly before we can let you know for sure. The northern territories are pretty close to the equator, so you might see tropical weather. Cities like Sydney will have a more moderate climate.

It can get pretty hot depending what state you're in. Here in Brisbane the past year or two it hasn't been too bad, you get a couple of really hot days then back to normal.

The weather right now in Brisbane, QLD varies. Could be hot one day and rainy the next. Should be constantly hot hot by November though. Aussies are great; though there are some great ppl over in the Bay Area where I'm from, the ppl here just seem nicer, more willing to help, and much more relaxed.
Very diverse group of ppl, especially areas close to the city. Car scene here is pretty good. Can get different cuisines from all over the world. Shopping is eh, so so. Things seem to close early as heck around here. So far, Melbourne is my favorite place here in AUS.

im from texas i just got here to Melbourne this past thursday. The city is pretty cool to walk around and shop. US currency is worth more here but there is a mark up on a lot of stuff. extra value menu at mcdonalds is 7-9 bucks for a big mac. they have no 99cent menu, no dr pepper, no dryers and theres a big water restriction because no rain across the the whole place so but other than that the weather has been great and the people are friendly down here. I've been trying to find something things to do down here since im going to be here for a good 6months to a year. oh yea the spring carnival is coming up. they are big on horse and dog and track racing down here. speed and red light cameras everywhere. Public transportation is pretty organized here. you can get an all day pass for 10 AUD. They are pretty hardcore here about being energy eff. and recycling clean streets stuff like that. If anyone in melbourne knows something i can do while im here pm me.

Hey champ, Next month we have the Melbourne Cup, get your best suit on and go perv at melbournes finest ladies, who all get trashed and usually are without undies by the end of the day! The horse racing is just an excuse to get dolled up and have a day off work, yes in Melbourne we get a day off work to watch a horse race!!

Get over to OzHonda.com and sign up, there should be some melbourne meets coming up since summers nearly here.

For a big list of whats coming check out this website http://www.visitvictoria.com/d...C744/

Other than that, enjoy our fine city, we even like americans hehe!
