can I sell a car to someone with out a US issued ID - Honda-Tech

My aunt is selling her car to a dude from Mexico, he only has a Mexican ID. I told her as long as you get the cash and sign over the title to him you should be fine. What do you guys think?

Make sure to tell your aunt to notify the DMV that she SOLD the car. some people won't register the car and if it gets stolen or something they'll contact her again since she was the last known owner on data.

so unless he is an american who jumped the border to mexico i highly doubt he's an illegal

a lot of illegal immigrants have driving licenses and they get covered,my dad is an illegal immigrant and he has insurance,he also has his us id and drivers license

Shouldn't be an issue as long as you have the CASH. Just make sure you have the buyer fill out the transfer/release of liability form and return it to DMV asap (you do). Also call your insurance company about the sale of the car.

WRONG. The illegal who hit me last year had temporary insurance through progressive and fake everything else.
