Whats the point of girls hanging around to get free drinks? - Honda-Tech

I was at a big bar last night with a big dance floor and what not with a few buddy. I go to take a quick look around and come back to see my buddy with a few girls. So i think to myself to jump on aboard. Now my buddy starts to buy a few drinks for all of us. Basically we start to chat them up..yada yada yada..bullshit for a little while. He askes them if they want more dirnks and they comply. Time goes by same shit yada yada.

So i offer to buy the next round. These girls stuck around with us for most of the night basically. They didnt really show much interest but they stuck around. I wasn't spitting much game either because the situation was giving off bad vibes. Basically @ the end of the night i kind of drifted away from them and they did the same. I didnt spend more than $30 bucks on them, myself, and my buddy. Question here being: Ok if they want free drinks thats cool sometimes, but why stick around the whole night just to drink?

If someone was offering me free drinks at the bar i would take it like anyone else would but i wouldn't stick around all night. im not there to just drink, i can drink at home if i just want to drink. So why spend your whole night just to drink for free? It was obvious that the interest was not there between us or them. My buddy and i were still chating up other women @ the same time while they were hanging out with us as well...lol..anyway why would women or girls do that? These girls were 25 and 26. Weird!

Why r u buying these girls free drinks? Don't you want a woman to be able to afford herself? It's nice but maybe for a woman you were in the midst of a conversation when her drink ran out, not your homely girls out at bars just to be drunk. That speaks volumes within itself!

OP no offense but if I'm reading this right you had 2 mid 20s women drinking and hanging. You said you weren't kicking it to them really. Now you're disapointed with the end result. Not really sure what you're beef is? I could see if you bought the drinks, tried to get some, and got denied. That's a legit gripe.This scenario however has me confused.
