Default Texas Hold'em - help with a hand

Example 1:

Board: 2h 7h Ah Ks 5d

Player 1: Qh 3h
Player 2: Jh 4h
Player 3:10h 8h
Player 4: 9h 5h

Who wins? Split pot, correct?

Example 2:

Board: 10h 9h 6h Jd Jd

Player 1: 7h 4h
Player 2: 8h 3h

Same? Split, right?

Example 3:

Board: 8h 2h 3h

Player 1: 4h 5h
Player 2: 6h 9h

Player 2 is ahead and winning (right now), right?

Example 1: Player 1

Example 2: Player 2

Example 3: Yes, player two is in the lead, but the Ah will give player one the win.

Whoever has the highest flush is the one with the single highest suited card. Period.

Really? Player one? I guess I figured it would be a split with all four players --seing that they all have an Ace-High flush. THey're all playing their best hand (everyone's best hand is an Ace-high flush)

Player 1: Ah Qh 7h 3h 2h
Player 2: Ah Jh 7h 4h 2h
Player 3: Ah 10h 8h 7h 2h
Player 4: Ah 9h 7h 5h 2h

Example 2:

Board: 10h 9h 6h Jd Jd

Player 1: 7h 4h
Player 2: 8h 3h

Player 2? I guess I figured the same in that they're all playing their best hand, which would result in a split

Player 1 10h 9h 7h 6h 4h
Player 2: 10h 9h 8h 6h 3h

Who ever holds the highest heart wins. It is the best 5 card hand.

Player 1's hand would be Queen high flush. They ALL have the Ace of hearts, so it is the best 5 card hand. Player 1 having the best flush, with the Q high. (Ace high technically)

Example 2:

Board: 10h 9h 6h Jd Jd

Player 1: 7h 4h
Player 2: 8h 3h

No. Same example from the first. In Holdem you make your BEST 5 card hand. No more, no less.

Player 1 hold a 7 high flush, while Player2 holds an 8 high flush.

Player 1 = 10h, 9h, 6h, 7h, 4h.

Player 2 = 10,h 9h, 8h, 6h, 3h. (winner)

Example 3:

Board: 8h 2h 3h

Player 1: 4h 5h
Player 2: 6h 9h

Player 2 is ahead and winning (right now), right?
Yes. How do you understand this one, but not the other 2? lol

We have a poker thread too by the way.

Oh crap! I think I got it now.

Slight brainfart that carried on to this morning.

Wow, I can't believe that I overlooked something so simple for Ex.1 and Ex.2

Ex.1: Everyone has Ace-high, so you look at everyones next highest card. duh. I feel dumb now.

Thanks!!
