Obviously there's resentment for the opposing candidate on both sides, but chanting kill the terrorist in unison at a rally is offensive on so many levels. The video you posted, im not gonna lie, i watched for like 10 seconds, and found it completley irrellevant..maybe im missing some kind of context to it.

This thread is about racism and bigotry that goes on AT MCCAIN CAMPAIGN EVENTS.

In fact, it goes on RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CANDIDATES who want to be the next leaders of the free world. It is a terribly frightening notion to consider that the next potential leaders of this diverse country would stand idle and not denounce that kind of behavior.

We all know that the far right "base" is populated by a fair share of neoconservative wack jobs... nobody is contesting that.

The point being raised here is the behavior of the Republican candidates. This has happened now on multiple occasions. McCain and Palin DO NOTHING but smirk and stare as their supporters openly evoke hate speak on national television.

Do you even realize what is going on here... what the tolerance of hatred by the front runners of a major political party in the United States means?

("Boooo!" the crowd repeated.)

"Kill him!" proposed one man in the audience.

Palin also told those gathered that Obama doesn't like American soldiers. "He said that our troops in Afghanistan are just, quote, 'air-raiding villages and killing civilians,' " she said, drawing boos from a crowd that had not been told Obama was actually appealing for more troops in Afghanistan.
