So this has been goin on for about two months.
I first went to a small local doctor and said he was probably a common strain and put me on a medrol dosepack for two weeks. Went away so I just thought badass its gone. The pain came right back after the pills were done. Then I got an MRI and went to a specialist. He said it was strained and told me a month of medrol would take it away.So I took it for a month and wow took ALL pain away. BUT pain came right back after pills were done. I went back to the specialist and he recommended therapy to help I guess the muscle and remove the pain. Is there any things such as exercise or something I can do myself to help it? Also during the day the pain is not really there...but at night after I lay down or someting and get up the pain is horrible...the muscle is tooo tight... Any help is appreciated!!

My hamstrings get sore a lot. So what I do before I lift is a very very tight back wide stance good morning. Helps loosen mine up but I dont now have any problems like you do. Hope this helps.
