Default A bet between friends

My daily workout:
1. 6 miles on bike
2. 2 mile speed walk at 3.5mph
3. Get back on bike for another 6 miles.
4. Leg Press Machine set at 185lbs. 4 sets of 10.
5. Leg Curls set at 65lbs. 4 sets of 10.
6. Arm curls set at 10lbs. (broke my arm) 3 sets of 10.
7. 50 squats in a sauna.

In the morning I'll eat a gernola bar. For lunch i'll eat fruit and a gernola bar. 2 hours later I will do sit ups.
My starting weight was 351lbs. in 2 weeks I lost 9lbs. I havent weighe in in 3 weeks but I will weigh in Monday.
My friend weighed in at 275lbs.
We made a bet to see who can loose the most weight in 3 months. Whoever lost the most weight would win $75.

just keep working at it consistently. stay dedicated. and the weight will come off quick.

Ya I am. My clothes are fitting bigger now. My stomache is gettng smaller, and I notice a difference in energy. Ive been working out for 6 weeks straight and I only rest on Sundays and recover.

The $100 million question is...what is your diet like? Thats a pretty crucial element you didn't mention that makes a huge difference. BTW, what is gernola?

Two big macs with a supersized order of fries and a DIET coke.

-Thats my choice of weight loss meal..I usually get about six of those meals in a day to speed up my metabolism and spread out the protein intake..

-I usually supplement that with Acidophilus to aid in the digestion process

Breakfast: Small portion of Oatmeal if Im hungry. If Im not that hungry I'll just eat a gernola bar to get something in my system. After I eat I take Xenedrine EFX.


Lunch: I will eat a wheat bread turkey sandwich with pineapple and have Gatoade/Propel/Vitawater for a drink. i layed off sodas completely for this bet. About 1-2 hours after lunch I will do 50-60 situps.
At about 3pm i take more Xenedrine. Im supposed totake 2 pills 2 times a day with a meal.

Dinner: I eat a sandwich again with fruit and drink juice again.

If you want to optimize your weight loss, you need to reorganize your diet and not have so many of your calories coming from carbs. Think less fruit, juice, or sports drinks and more protein and fibrous veggies. You also seem to be undereating which isn't the healthiest way to lose weight.

When I take the Xenadrine diet pills, they make me eat a lot less. For example...When I get a footlongfrom subway I can only eat about half of a 6" sub. I would be able to save it for the next day.

there's a lot of variation.

if you walk in and say "hey, i want a membership" they'll probably charge you $40 a month.

if you look on fatwallet or those deal finder forum type websites...you can probably get it for like $15 a month.

ya I had an all club membership with my bro. They are upping the price to $60 for him and $40 for me. My bro doesnt go much so hes going to cancle our membership.

xenadrine is bad stuff it can seriously mess you up i took it like 10 years ago when i was playing highschool football,and it almost killed me i'd just eat right and get some cardio in and do it the good old fashioned way

ya i took it before in highschool myself. It makes you eat a lot less and get full real quick. In highschool I lost 35lbs. off 2 bottles of xenedrine.

I wonder if you might be eating too little, to be honest.

If you drop your calorie intake too much, your body goes into low-power mode.

But I'm not that good with diets. Anyone else have thoughts?

I paid $600 up front for a 3-year membership, then it's $50/year after that.

Don't think there are deals like that for a one-year membership, though.

Hey guys just an update. My bro is canceling our group account because they are raising our monthly membership. I am going to get my own membership and continue this bet.
On another note, My friend I made a bet with hasnt been taking our bet serious and he gained 3lbs. There is a little more then 6 weeks left til our deadline and i am gonna push a little harder.
How?
I am going to work out twice a day doing my routine. I will weigh in and let you guys know my progress.
Im loosing my stomach. My clothes are fitting bigger, and I have more energy to carry out the day. i dont feel lazy and i find it fun to work out.
I havent weighed in for a mionth but Ima weigh in thursday.
Ill post up a before n after pic. right now.
