LF within 200 miles of Jacksonville, NC

EG (92-95) hatch or coupe (2dr)
DC integra
EF (88-91) CRX or Hatch

I am looking for something that isn't beat the death, but something that is 'drivable'. I have a ton of parts to bring back to the US with me and need something to put it all into. This will be a daily drivin track car. I plan to auto-x, maybe hit up a HPDE day up at VIR... etc. etc.

If its a EF, id like to find something with a good suspension in it as I haven't really collected any EF suspension.

Also keep in mind, wont be until around early June that I will be back in NC....but those days are fast approaching, and maybe someone is leaving or something...just wanna throw this out there, plus I'm stoked to get another car.

1995 Neon
132hp SOHC 4-door
Only $2,450
(firm price)

The racecar is located in Newington, CT, but shipping options do exist.

Originally raced in SCCA’s Showroom stock category, this racecar is now eligible for SCCA’s Improved Touring A (ITA) category, NASA Performance Touring, or it would be a great car for High Performance Driving Events.

If properly prepared, this racecar could be very competitive in ITA

The car is in good overall shape minus a few racing battle scars (minor cosmetic dents), and has little or no rust.

Additional pictures can be seen at: http://www.GoAheadTakeTheWheel.com/Neon.html

Well-built Custom Cage
Only 38,000 miles are on it
Has a clean title
Non-adjustable upgraded Koni suspension
Stainless Steel Cat back exhaust
12 OEM 14” Wheels
Kirkey Racing Seat
Racing Harness
Fire extinguisher
Miscellaneous parts also included

Why is this racecar being sold?
I would really like to hold onto the car, but it just doesn’t make sense anymore. I already have a front-running ITB racecar, don’t have room at my house to store it, and now have a limited amount of time with a baby in the household.

In order bring the existing SCCA logbook current for 2008, the car would need a another passenger side door bar, the drivers side window net needs to be changed to drop down versus mount up, a new drivers belt (due to date requirements; budget $75), and the kill switch needs to be installed (one comes with the car).

The car was painted in 2007 where we learned how challenging using a metallic paint is. The result was various areas being sprayed on thicker than others which once it dried, it looks patchy. Ideally the car would receive a fresh paint job to make it look pretty.

The racecar also comes along with a box of miscellaneous parts including partially used Hawk brake pads, engine belts, headlight, etcetera.

Default FS 1987 H5/ITB Honda Civic Si

At the end of this season I will be switching to a different car and/or series. As much as I would like to keep the Civic, storing 2 race cars is not feasible.

I will be selling the car and ALL the spares I have for it (which includes engines, body panels, and countless other parts) for $5500 OBO. Pictures of the car be found at http://www.tcc.edu/faculty/web...tive under the TCC Racing page. Also, you can find pics from the last race at Summit Point here: http://www.europrints.us/08sum...x.htm

I will be running the car for the rest of this season unless someone makes an offer. I have already accomplished what I set out to do with the car, so I will end my season early for a buyer.

This car was my ORIGINAL CSP car that we converted to an H5 car. Turned out this was the better of the two cars. MUCH better body and setup. I purchased this car in 1995 with 70K miles as a street car when I first moved to VA. I have autocrossed it in stock and street prepared classes over the next 9 years, attended HPDE's with this car, and eventually converted it for H5/ITB competition. This is the car I won the ECHC H5 Championship in.

Here are the details

Hondaworks (Kevin Helms) prepared engine (.040" over)
Custom 4.90 final drive (Houseman I believe)
OPM Limited Slip
24mm Torsion Bars (I think I can get the 27mm bars from a certain H4 car)
350lbs. Eibach rear springs
Tokiko Illumina struts front & rear
Energy Suspension bushings F & R
Lightspeed rear sway bar
Front sway bar disconnect
OPM Camber plates
Kirkey Racing Seat
Updated Belts (2008)
Custom Roll Cage w/NASCAR bars on driver's side
7 Panasport Pro Rally Wheels (there was an 8th, but it got damaged) w/ Toyo RA1 tires shaved
4 CRX Si rims with full depth Toyo RA1 tires
Lightned flywheel (I have the original one for SCCA)
There are also TONS of spares for this car (as in bring a truck and trailer).

Currently this car holds the H5 record at CMP and VIR North
http://nasaracing.net/track_records.htm

There are 2 areas of body damage.
1. The left front corner had to be pulled. Everything lines up but the headlight is a little crooked.
2. I was hit on the R/R quarter panel as I was sliding through Turn 17 at VIR. I don't recommend it. We were able to beat the panel back out and the car has not suffered any ill effects. In fact, I now have the camber I desired in the R/R (still need to shim the left).

Please let me know if you have any questions.
