Default 91 civic. worth it now?

So i got the a1 in my civic all done today ran great.
everyone talks how much of a hassle it is to do but turned out not to bad.
it took me along time cause i had alot of learning to do. thanks to the help of Nihad here on H-T it even runs. im running the ecu outta my 90 integra and the redline is at like 3k. lol. im trying the pm6 tomorrow. i did have a overheating problem tonight but i just took out the thermostat and now dont even get close to overheat. i better change that before winter comes. [= but ill have a video. oh and i made the exaust today too. sounds bad cause the high flo cat and no resonator. i think im going to put on of them on soon too before my child is born, but it runs great for 400$ for motor and 300$ for the cleanest civic hatch in my town.

what everyone calls the problem an hour of work aint that big of a problem

i know its upside down i realize it now but it holds good and sits level

the car was auto.. not any more, thanks to honda-tech i found what i needed for that swap and the mpfi swap.

Code 4 = CYP sensor = engine won't rev over 3K, and engine runs like total crapola

Early D16A1 engines had an external sensor on the exhaust cam - if yours has this I'd be willing to bet that the source of the issue. You may need to locate a 88-89 A1 dizzy with the internal sensors. I just realized you said 89 so likely the distributor wiring, or the CYP inside the dizzy is bad.

Also code 10 = IAT sensor - make sure it's wired properly

Lastly running withou a t-stat is a bad idea. Sure it might not overheat, but you're also driving the engine at less than operating temp, which can lead to damage as well. you need to figure out why it's overheating instead of using a ghetto end-around measure.

What have you done to wire it up so far? Do you have the sensor on the Exh cam hooked up?
