Official GDD Random/Awesome/ISK/Chat Thread v. 2.0 - Honda-Tech

Welcome back to our second round of open chatting! We have been lucky to get another chance at this, so let's set things straight from the very beginning.

First things first, yes this is a chat thread but let's keep the post-whoring to a minimum. The last thread was locked because of this, and there were at least two related bannings that were at least partially caused by said whoring.

Here are some basic ground rules as set forth by the ToS

Also, this was recently posted by GK as to the resurgence of NSFW pictures that have been happening lately (and that came to a head in the 6 threads devoted solely to hot women from last night or so):

From what I have seen this evening, I would suggest that nothing sex-oriented or sexually oriented should be presented unless the moderators have conspired to spend 24 hours/day watching the content of the specific thread(s) they have allowed.

In both quotes I have bolded certain areas with which we had problems in the last thread. These are very simple rules to follow, and for most of the 400+ pages of the last thread we followed these rules very well.

There are two other rules from the GDD guidelines which are important (for this thread especially):

1. "No derogatory remarks with regards to race/religion/creed/culture/ethnicity/sexual preference"

One user was banned because of such remarks, so these will not be tolerated in any way, shape, or form (even jokingly or as a term of endearment); and

2. "No threads with regards to illicit/illegal drug/alcohol use"

We had a spot of trouble with this one last time. Let's be careful about what we say in regards to this rule. I've seen a lot of leeway with this one in regards to marijuana use, but even still, let's be careful.

All of us will need to help anyone who chats with us stay within the rules. Warnings are important and a first course of action, but if a person continues to mess things up for the rest of us, he/she will be reported. Let's not let it get to that.

EDIT: We have been given this thread to do almost as much as we please, with the stipulation that all the shenanigannery will take place in here. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go out and shit all over other threads. We have this place to ourselves, and if we go out and trash places other than our own, we will run the risk of losing this thread too.

Oh I'm fine. My favorite part of things is the interview cause I know that's my strongest.

I'm a confident, good looking, intelligent person so I do well face to face.

I'm just dreading the drive and parking and finding the place. I know how to get to the school and I know the area the building is in but don't know exactly where to park or where to go in the building.

I just want it to be over with.

I'm all showered, everything is ironed.

I'm leaving at one to give myself plenty of time to find parking and get there a little early.

Very good idea. If push comes to shove, it's worth it to get a $40 parking ticket and be on time for your interview. Ask me how I know

parking is prety open there..you should be alright
