China bus blasts kill 2

BEIJING, China (CNN) — Explosions on public buses killed two people and injured 14 in a city in southwestern China on Monday, the state-run news agency reported.
The separate blasts hit buses in Kunming, a city in China’s Yunnan province, the Xinhua news agency said. The first explosion happened near a bus stop around 7:10 a.m. local time (7:10 p.m. ET Sunday). Another explosion happened at a nearby intersection about 55 minutes later.
Police did not provide additional details, the news agency said.
The news agency said an explosion near the Panjiawan bus stop damaged the front of a public bus and littered the area with broken glass.
It was not immediately clear what caused the explosions.
