Default Official Daily Cycling Distance Thread

I know there are quite a few people who ride both on and off road on here, so I figured I'd start a thread so everyone could keep track of their distances, bike they were on, and type of terrain as a way to keep everyone motivated.

I'll start off, here's my past 2 days of riding:

Monday 6/30
5.4 miles on the fixed gear, mostly flat
9.6 miles on the mtb, mostly flat

Tuesday 7/1
6.6 miles on the fixed gear, all rolling hills

Didn't ride at all yesterday, I was too busy getting shit together to go camping this weekend. No riding this weekend either, but I'll do some hiking and maybe rock climbing up in the Adirondacks.

I road out into the country yesterday and almost got lost, lol. I was trying to follow the route from a sprint triathalon, I think I missed a turn, haha. soooooo I'm guessing around 15 miles or so, not sure, not in good enough shape yet to get back out on the trails and make it worth while

Eh... partied too hard on the 4th so saturday was spent out of the saddle. Sunday we took the singlespeeds out to santa cruz and logged a little over 20 miles in the dirt. Tems are rising into the hundreds this week to riding is going to be spotty unless we go out to the coast.

Going to do 15 miles today on the fixed gear after I get out of work.

I'm thinking about starting commuting by bike tomorrow, 15 miles each way. I found a route thats pretty much all flat though.

About 15 miles on the SS on sat, and another ~20 on my heckler yesterday. Hitting the pool after work so no riding.

Did 18 miles on the fixed today, probably could have done more but traffic was starting to pick up a lot.

Didn't end up swimming...again, got out of work too late. I got in a ride instead; about 3 miles on the SS on one of the nastiest trails you can ride a SS on, all climbing up steep crap with no breaks. Yesterday and today i rode into work and im going to shoot for a swim this evening, ive got everything together so i can get home, eat and bounce to the lake. Trying to get ready for a triathalon before summer is over.

Nice. One of my good friends from high school is big into triathlons.

I did another 18 miles yesterday. Not going to be able to ride tonight because I have to pack to go to Boston this weekend, so no riding this weekend.

I did find out that the local EMS store sells lift tickets for biking at a ski resort discounted to $22. I'm wondering if the 15% student discount applies to that as well.

Lift riding is awesome, have only done it once but it was a blast. I finally made it into the water last night and i have tons of work ahead of me but it felt good to be in the water. Now comes the running bit which at 205# doesnt feel great but it needs to be done. No riding this weekend for me either, going away for the weekend, ill get to swim though so i wont be totally inactive, more riding come monday...see ya all then have a good weekend!

Doing a 65 mile hilly ride next Saturday! Going to have to work my ass off this week to get ready... the longest I have ever ridden in a day is ~50 miles.

I ended up by bringing my road bike to the lake, but i was only able to get in a couple of miles due to the fires burning in the area killing the air. Did a whole lot of swimming and launching small children out of the pool, which is apparently good for hours of entertainment in their mind. Rode to work today on the SS which is just dumb, it tops out at about 12mph but its fun to ride. Doubt i will be riding this evening, my shoulders and my wrist are jacked from throwing the kids. Hopefully tommaro.

Haven't been back on the bike again this week, I've had a ton of shit going on.

I'm going to ride to school on Friday (15 miles), hopefully my friend can get his old bullhorn bars to me by then.
