I just wish hip hop was like it used to be...

I could go on...There was so much quality and talent in hip hop from the early 80's freestyle, up to about '01 maybe? Would eminem be classified as quality?

If I had to pick any group or artist that opened the hole for something like that, it would have to be snoop or biggie. Maybe method man/redman.

I love their ^^ stuff, but it did go toward that direction, anyone agree?

*gets on soapbox*

I hate people who complain about hip hop today. If u can't find anything u like today, it is because

- u are not looking hard enough
- u are giving a nostalgic advantage to music of the past
- u are growing out of rap + aren't adapting to/with its progression

There is a lot of bs on the radio now which is unfortunate but really there is not, never was, and never will be a drought of new music

"man remember Enter the 36 Chambers????? that was the best year of my life"

Yes I've been listening to it for the past 15 years. There have been other great rap albums and songs made since then. Give it a [freak]ing rest, you sound so old, ignorant and corny.

i say hip hop is what u make of it. akon is not hip hop, he's pop. t-pain is just annoying.

there is still great hip hop around i don't think there really was a downfall unless u seriously consider t-pain a hip hop artist.

now i got 32 flavors of that bootylicious bubble gum
