- u are growing out of rap + aren't adapting to/with its progression There is a lot of bs on the radio now which is unfortunate but really there is not, never was, and never will be a drought of new music "man remember Enter the 36 Chambers????? that was the best year of my life" Yes I've been listening to it for the past 15 years. i say hip hop is what u make of it. akon is not hip hop, he's pop. t-pain is just annoying.there is still great hip hop around  i don't think there really was a downfall unless u seriously consider t-pain a hip hop artist.
