well next week I'll be purchasing a Epsom powerlite 10+ projector but it doesn't come with tuner for cable my question is would i have use one of those external tuner for the PC or do they sell a stand alone tuner for just this occasion?

any help would be really appreciated.

if you get digital cable, get the tuner box from your cable company.

well at my apartments we have free regular cable so it will be awhile before i get digital

you can use a VCR

a vcr has an input for a coax cable, and anything that cost over 20 bucks will have a video out

you can change channels with the vcr

man thanks!! i straight up forgot about that i went and found one of my old vcr's with composite and s-video outputs

Yup a VCR would probably be your best bet if you don't want satellite or digital cable.
