U.S. should win the Gold. There is no question since they allow the Pros to play. The games in the past where U.S. did not win the gold was because the players themselves did not want to win it. Not that the other team was better. Why risk getting hurt, or play hard before the season? Every B-Ball kid growing up want to win the NBA Chamionship, not an Olympic Gold. But this group does seem a lot more hungry to prove themselves. Plus, there is not much to do in Communist China for a Baller. They are being watched 24/7. They stand out too much. It's not like they can go out and get a few Chinese Hookers before evening practice. It's all focus on B-Ball for them.

bronze or silver but i'm praying for gold. they look nice when in transition but at points i noticed kobe & kidd forcing passes in bad places. chris bosh was a machine in the paint today.

Ginobili leaves semi final game against Team USA with ankle injury:BEIJING (AP)—Manu Ginobili, Argentina’s leading scorer, left Friday night’s semifinal against the U.S. with an apparent left ankle injury. Ginobili limped off the floor with 3:39 to go in the first quarter and Argentina trailing 14-4. When the San Antonio Spurs guard reached the bench, Ginobili removed his left shoe, then left the bench.
