I'm trying to register my business as a DBA and I'm getting overwhelmed trying to figure it all out.

Does anyone have any insight?

This is in FL.

How hard is it? I googled and came up with this site https://filedba.com/index.php/
maybe worth a shot to look into it?

I'd suggest calling your local chamber of commerce and asking whether there is a free option to file. Most sites are selling registries for $99 plus. I'd imagine there is a paper form available for cheap.

Here you go.

No they're not. For instance in Kansas, there is nothing.

It allows you to do business under two different names for legal purposes. If I could compare it to something, it would be like a home address and a mailing address. Sometimes these addresses are not the same.
