regardless of what handheld im carrying i never had any issues with T-MOBILE in the last 4 years . too bad they're not carryi8ng anything as fancy like the Iphone

Yeah, but the real question is, do you need to sign up with AT&T for 2 years with a plan in order to get the phone at $199? Or can you just buy the phone out-right for $199, and then 'register' it on iTunes or unlock it and do whatever you want to with it? Of course the latter would be the way most people would like to have but I think AT&T is the one who's offering the incentives here on the price break.

From what I understand it's going to be hard to unlock this phone but Apple and ATT are going be selling the phone at this price

Here's what I dont like about the iphone, with todays apps, and email etc, this thing now has all your personal info in it. Think about it, bank account info, ebay, paypal, everything, if you lose the phone, then your assed out.Another thing, its widely known that apple lovers like the exclusivity of there apple products, making iphone 199 means every joe shmo will have one. Will it still be cool, now that everyone has one? Iphone will now be like the razr was in 06, once everyone started having them.
